You’ll pay for the background checks, you’ll jump through their hoops. You’ll finally be approved to find…nothing. Empty feed, no jobs. Maybe it was legitimate at one point but how it’s not called a scam is beyond me. Also look closely at those Google ads, you’ll notice they all sound suspiciously similar. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2026-08-03, version 4.0.9* Do not download or sign up for this babysitting app. I downloaded it this summer in hopes I could get a few jobs and I paid for it and had the app for a month with no short term babysitting jobs in my area ever coming up despite me frequently refreshing. So naturally I deleted my account in the app and I have now been charged a Wyndy subscription for 2 months and every time I email customer service it takes multiple days to ever get a word back and after the last time I was told my account was terminated but I am still finding charges on my card. Waste of time and money find another babysitting app and don’t waste your time with this one. ### 1/5 — This app sucks *2026-08-02, version 4.0.8* Used to be great. Now it’s inflexible, unresponsive, and rips off parents , caregivers & sitters alike. ### 1/5 — never got approved *2026-07-30, version 4.0.8* it has been over 3 weeks! i have never gotten approved for the job. this is ridiculous!! ### 1/5 — NOT legit *2026-07-27, version 4.0.8* I have been a nanny for 10+ years and out of all the sites I have used, this is by far the WORST. You get unsolicited babysitting ads that aren’t even for a legit position. You pay a membership fee, for what? To obtain a sitter? When anyone could post online for free? Customer service was ignorant and not helpful. Stay far away! Care.com all the way! ### 1/5 — Full of fake jobs *2026-07-21, version 4.0.8* I was lured by jobs that sounded like they’d be a great fit! Once I signed up, only fake jobs with no actual information were listed. Wishing I hadn’t paid anything! ### 2/5 — Lies about Payout!! Doesn’t adhere to minimum wage laws! *2026-07-18, version 4.0.7* Wyndy has been alright aside from half of the jobs being partnerships with Upwards which is ridiculous. The biggest issue is the constant lies about how much money you will earn. The notifications will always say $25/h but when you click on the job listing it’s actually only $20/h. A very big difference.. I saw one for $27/h and when I click it’s only for $21/h. There is no consistency in the rate changes, it’s random. I have several screenshots of this happening. They have MULTIPLE listings for $13/h when that isn’t even legal in my state; minimum wage is $14.80! There is zero benefit to the subscription service it seems aside from just funneling more money into the company that wants to lie about pay rates and take from hard working parents/nannies! Just clicked on a $50/h job and it’s actually $40/h!!!! TEN DOLLAR DIFFERENCE!!! ### 1/5 — Won’t let a certified teacher apply *2026-07-17, version 4.0.7* I’m an infant teacher at an early childhood learning center. I got my child development associate credential by doing lots and lots of trainings and observations through work.
