Not only has it combined the data I usually get from numerous apps but it also makes getting camera views so much easier. Also one of the main features it has is the notification when a road alert has been removed, which isn’t available with the official state 511 apps. What used to take a good amount of time to trip plan is now accomplished in just a couple of minutes. Developer was quick to respond to a suggestion I had and followed up with me. Next thing to work on would be getting the connected vehicle technology to let drivers know where stopped traffic and snow plows are located. This indie developed app makes up for the state’s app by providing a better UI and the collections feature for web cameras is awesome. You can create a collection, name it something (i.e., “I-80”), and then add cameras along that route. When you bring up the collection, the latest photos from the web cameras are loaded. Really easy to set up commonly followed routes so you can see what the conditions really look like in real time. Plus, the added weather feature allows you to see both roads and weather in the same place without having to switch between apps.
