Everyone was really happy with the old app and don’t like the new app. Go back to the old one!! ### 1/5 — The ap randomly and suddenly comes on loud and clear in the middle of the night *2025-11-28, version 8.30.51* It is jarring to be awakened by WYPR when we are sound asleep. It never does that during the day! ### 1/5 — New version is really bad *2025-05-03, version 8.28.5* Audio drops, stuff is buried in menus, layout is baffling. The old app worked just fine. A downgrade in every way ### 1/5 — Broken *2025-04-15, version 8.28.3* The app is in an endless loop with an “upgrade available” popup and just one option to upgrade, which reopens the app when you get the same popup again… ### 1/5 — Endless update *2025-04-14, version 8.28.3* App asked to update and I did. It keeps asking to update. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app, restarted my phone to no avail. Pffft! ### 1/5 — Going in circles *2025-04-14* The app was working fine and then silence and a message that an update is available. I tapped OK and was routed to the app store but there is no update. The only option was to open the already installed app. Again with the update message and again to the App Store and no update. Uninstall / reinstall does not fix this problem. Terribly frustrating. When you click ok you are taken to the App Store where it says “Open”.
