Toxic community element has left. Many bugs have been fixed and several quality measures have been implemented. Also significant new material has been added. Dev is actively involved again. Worth trying. ### 5/5 — Amazing game *2025-04-12, version 3.7.4* Played this 15 years ago and glad to see it online. You will have to get through a learning curve if it's your first time playing, but it's well worth it - very expansive world, quests, etc - mostly built by player volunteers who really love the game. ### 4/5 — My first MMO *2025-03-27, version 3.7.4* I played this game on my Windows 2000 desk top computer with dial up internet. I have so much nostalgia and love for this title. I just absolutely love the art style and the core memories this game brings up. It may be tough to compete with the many other games of today but I will never forget and stop loving you Wyvern. ### 3/5 — Navigation for quests is broken and is preventing me from completing quests *2023-08-27, version 3.7.4* I really like the game and all the mechanics. The only issue I have is the quest navigation isn’t going to the next area, like if I need to meet another person for a quest, the navigation won’t move to the other person, the other issue with the navigation is that it goes into the wrong area I was doing one quest and it was just in the middle of a wall. It wouldn’t move. However, it suffers from frequent crashes that send me straight to my iPad Mini’s home screen. But then you try to play, it says your character could not be found, and disconnects you. The sole remaining volunteer content provider in game has a horrible attitude and has created a toxic community of sychophants that he plays with in another game. These people have run off everyone else. Biased and unbalanced content and adminstration geared toward his clique. Also there is a community of players from this games days in early 2000’s who bully new players. Developers also give these select players advantages in game. Decent solo game, but community is ruined by these 40 yr old high school bullies. And to get truly effective gear you’re going to spend real money.
