At some point devices were duplicated which you cannot remove, and I was really excited about the parental control part where I can block my kids devices at night. But even when I’m blocking them, they’re still able to be on their XBOX so I don’t think it works because they’re not blocking the Internet to their devices. I cannot do anything. I am about to go back to Cox. The app thinks for a long time and then it crashes. I would also appreciate if when devices are connected that the app could detect the device name instead of IP or whatever it uses as I then have to run around and identify the device that is connected. This is one of my main issues with the app besides it not working at night. Also I should be able to have multiple people logged into the account on various devices so myself and my husband can use the parental controls. I do like the parental controls. People are great. This App is so frustrating to use it’s almost impossible to use at all. With all of Cox’s faults, and there are thousands, at least their Apps were easy to set up, add/remove, limit access, assign access and control which devices that THE CUSTOMER wants to use on 2.4, 5 and 6ghz. You literally have to call Wyyerd to remove something listed in the App. As a hands on, intelligent person with credentials to brag about, which I won’t in this review, it’s extremely frustrating. Speed tests are absolutely useless unless you have the technician literally tethered to the router. As speed tests bounce off so many different devices it’s not even remotely useful for what actually comes into your home or business. ### 1/5 — Good Service - Terrible App *2024-09-14, version 24.3.0* Very frustrating to use the app. It resets information you put in like sort by. The in-app QR code thing is garbage too. The QR code on the modem is so tiny the phone won’t focus on it. So I can’t set anything up. The app fails to connect EVERY single time I open it. Every time I try to open a tab, it fails to load. There’s a lot of functionality and ways to manage the network, but it’s pointless since the app never works. CANCEL YOUR SERVICE AND GET A DIFFERENT ISP. This is the only way Wyyerd lets you manage your network.
