This has been my favorite weather app. However, in the last few weeks, the radar has been very very glitchy, and now the app is crashing at a high frequency. Hopeful, the developers will fix some things. ### 2/5 — How? *2026-06-16, version 6.1.601* The app functions worse than the website. The app takes significantly more data just to load and is typically inaccurate, and off compared to the online version. The latest update is hard to navigate. It’s not easy like the previous version. Too many bells and whistles. I can handle the ad banner at the top of the app page. Issues are primarily with the map- the most critical part! Horrible since the last update for that reason. I don’t care for the 24 hour radar setting either. Revert too the old version of the app, it was way better or the radar animation. Unless it’s not being made clear, there is no way to have both at the same time anymore. Please bring this feature back to restore this app to 5-stars. I use this App when I travel all over the country, but also daily to plan yard work, kayaking, or other activities. The satellite view combined with programmable overviews of lightning, storm wind directions, clouds or fog, along with toggling past or past & present radar motion, provide an insight for safe travel or activities. All weather stations that predict weather can be off, but there’s no denying the reality of an approaching storm with lightning & high winds in near real time. Also programmable are notifications of lightning detected nearby, or tornado watch.
