Major shortcoming, ### 2/5 — Not updating Scores even when I scan in *2025-01-18, version 2.7* We have played at X-Golf in Rockwall, TX twice now and neither one of those times did our scores update into the app even though we scanned into the system through our apps. This is a main reason we downloaded the app so that we could evaluate our scores. ### 2/5 — What Stats? *2024-11-30, version 2.7* How long does it typically take for stats and rounds to load after play? Do you need to enter or submit anything after the round for data to carry over into the app? I can log in to the app but when I hit Book tee time it takes me to a website, then you hit book a tee time again and nothing happens. I tried to log in but the site says invalid username/password. It’s bad enough you can’t even access the captured data while at X-Golf and you only get to see it for about 10 seconds on the screen after each shot. But having an app that syncs to the simulator and still only shows maybe 1/3 of the data as total averages/percentages is extremely disappointing. ### 1/5 — Poor design *2025-02-16, version 2.7* Really poor design. App doesn’t synch with website so I had to reregister with the app and make sure the passwords were the same. App doesn’t remember my home course. No clear link to log into your account in the app. Have to try to book a reservation to get prompted. No clear way to view upcoming reservations in app. But that’s the first thing I see when I log directly into the website. Half of the functions on the app are just links to the website so why use the app? Open tee times are listed in confusing manner. eg 8:00 AM 8:00 PM 9:00AM 9:00PM Etc. ### 1/5 — Very Disappointed *2025-02-10, version 2.7* This app is currently useless. It doesn’t track any stats or connect your account when you’re playing a round. I played 36 holes and scanned the QR code to “add my profile” thinking it would link my stats and scores but it did nothing. It’s also very clunky when you’re navigating the tabs at the bottom. Most of the tabs take you to a webpage outside of the app being all over the place. X-Golf is fun but the tech needs a lot of improvement. ### 1/5 — Kinda love kinda hate *2024-02-22, version 2.0* I hate hate I can’t change my freaking picture. Just defaults to the first one which was an accident. I also think dates of showing where your handicap changed is important. Old game scores. SO MMUCHHHHH POTENTIAL ### 1/5 — So much potential… *2024-01-06, version 2.0* When I first downloaded I had the option to set up my bag and pay for premium stats, now that’s gone. My compliments to the management of the place. The service, food, and most of all the golf system X-Golf offers is excellent. I just trialed the new upgrade of the laser detection system and from my first point of view it gets highest grade. The measurement of the distance equals as well or better than other indoor golf simulators offer. ### 5/5 — Keeps improving *2025-05-05, version 2.7* Used to be terrible, but it seems like they’re starting to make it better and better. It tracks all my scores though it did take awhile to update. Can we get that settled? There is no link to customer support anywhere that I can see. Local franchise owner says “it should be working”. Separately the stats data leaves a lot to be desired. Can’t view history or rounds, manage data, load swing videos during practice sessions. In today’s technology driven world, the app is nothing more than basic. Which is a shame because the game itself is the best technology I’ve seen short of TGL. ### 3/5 — Statistics *2025-01-30, version 2.7* Unfortunate that the app does not track hit/club data.Would be good to get club speed, ball speed, distance, spin, etc based on your tournament data. ### 3/5 — Today it worked *2023-01-30, version 1.19* I’d recently started using an X-golf facility, and then I was made aware of this app. After downloading and paying the membership fee, I was excited to have a chance to use it. On my next two outings, I wasn’t able to connect to a simulator using this app. After speaking with the staff at the facility, I came to understand that this app has a lot of potential, but as for right now it’s now working properly, at least not for me. I wish that I’d know that before paying that membership fee. It would be great if this app worked as expected. Update: well today, I went out, and everything connected, so I’ve had to change my review. It was probably a WiFi issue that would allow me to connect before. I’d still like it a lot better if I could save/view the actual scorecard. ### 3/5 — Profile *2022-12-29, version 1.16* Please fix the problem with updating your picture and settings within your account! ### 2/5 — Need better data visibility *2025-05-19, version 2.7* App records some Data but is very lacking, can see average drive, handicap, etc but x golf is collecting all the other data on spin, ball speed, irons etc but none of that is displayed in the app. If the app had better data visibility it would get more usage and more people would go to xgolf.
