Fully integrates with most aircraft autopilot systems, but may not work with some that have their own operational plugins (x737, for example). I would give it 5 stars if it weren't so unstable. The app crashes my iPad Air repeatedly during use (restarts my actual iPad, not just the app). Happens especially when moving/zooming the map. Fix that and it's a winner! ### 4/5 — Great App *2014-09-27, version 1.2.1* I would like to have one more feature, on the map when the flight is displayed/moving if you could display flight number( like 747/380)/speed/heading number/altitude that would be really great. ### 5/5 — Can it get any better! *2014-09-11, version 1.2.0* I had the demo of this app for a long time and it has instrumental to my simulation. When I'm on the ground, I use X-Mapper in concert with the plate and it makes ground navigation a dream. I love how you can see a trail of where you have come from and it follows you. I can enter in my frequencies faster. Just after I bought the app they updated it to have the iOS 7-8 look and feel! Can it get any better!? ### 5/5 — 👍👍👍 *2014-08-20* Firstly, Great Job. I love the app. I love the autopilot (I'll get back to that in a minute), I love the map and the corse line as it can allow you to have more precision. Now to the bits I don't like much. Firstly, the 'avionics' are great, but autopilot can be interesting sometimes as it keeps turning off auto and onto the manual setting (this may also be a problem with x-plane itself.) That is my only real concern although the flight path line can be a bit pixelated sometimes/it can be made up if straight lines. I had the light version of this and it is well worth purchasing this version as it is both affordable and effective. ### 2/5 — Not reliable *2014-07-31, version 1.1.3* The sliders disappeared. I've used it with X-Plane to fly over cities and country side in the UK and Canada that I know well, and it was perfectly in sync. Plus it has a great overlay for comm and nav radio that seems to work pretty good. Just being able to glance down at where you are on the map is so cool. I have this and another app running on two separate ipads and they both work flawlessly, plus they probably take some load off the computer. Fantastic use of $3.00. The avionics functions don’t work with all payware aircraft, but they do work with some, which is to be expected. Unlike many addons that you download and use a couple of times, x-mapper is a genuinely useful and functional tool. Not only does it have a great moving map, but the avionics section lets me type in Alt VS, HDG and ASI values, instead of using fiddly knobs in a 3d cockpit. This alone makes me use it constantly. Definitely a must have for any simmer! ### 5/5 — Controlls *2017-01-10, version 1.2.2* The app aims to map but the most wondeful features are the flight controlls and the auto pilot. The radio stack is also a great help! ### 5/5 — X-Mapper Pro - Superb Add On *2016-12-17* This is a superb add on and well worth the price tag. It syncs really well with X-Plane 10 and now 11 and has a nice smooth action over the ground. I never fly without it! I have tried several other moving maps like X-Mapper Pro, but always come back to it as for me at least it, does everything I need it to and it works really well. ### 5/5 — Great for nav, comms & autopilot!!! *2016-10-19, version 1.2.2* Setting radios and A/P in X-Plane can be cumbersome and distracting, never as easy as turning a knob or pushing a button in a real plane. This takes all of that hassle away, almost better than the real thing, allowing you to just fly the plane. If for no other reason, that makes it totally worth it.
