It displays just the right amount of information without feeling too cluttered. The trendlog displays Radon, Temp, & Humidity as seperate graphs. About the only tweaks that would be nice would be to display the STA. Another item to request is to be able to overlay the other metrics on one graph trend screen such as using a checkbox to enable or disable each metric. One sensor in the case - one for each of the rooms it frequents when playing! Know when to dehumidify or change humidity-control packs! Every retry keeps repeating the same error loop. Eventually the base station says that the device has not been added. As soon as I tried it with my android phone the device added smoothly and showed online and I was able to test it too. As soon as I logged back onto my iPhone the new device was showing as offline but once logged back into my android phone the device was showing as online. ### 1/5 — Wireless Smoke Alarm Doesn’t Work *2026-08-04, version 1.41.1* Only 1 of three will connect to 2.4 GHz network. Test function does not work. Software cannot detect when offline. Do not recommend. ### 1/5 — Had FIRE but NO Alert *2026-08-02, version 1.41.1* So had a significant fire and the app did not send an alert. So now they have a paid for call service but why can’t I just rely in the app. I could also rely on an API access solution that I could control or have a web hook but X-Sense doesn’t allow that. Companies who don’t allow API access always fail eventually. I kitted my entire house with 7 units x-sense smoke sensors and now I am going to be removing them unless API access is allowed. Joke is I review tech and this is a big fail. They won’t care. No API is more money for them and their app failing they will just blame on Apple. But if I can switch users to a more API and Home Assistant friendly solution that’s supported, I will. Hello UniFi.. ### 1/5 — Nuisance *2026-07-01, version 1.40.0* The app gives me a badge without any reason and I cannot find a way to remove it ### 1/5 — False sense of security! *2026-05-29, version 1.39.0* The hardware is very good however, there’s a massive flaw with the app. Only one family member can be logged in at any one time. I work shifts and we have adult children living with myself and my wife. We all work so there are plenty of times when the house is empty. My wife and children all use hair straighteners so I bought 6 x-sense smoke alarms and a CO2 alarm all linked to the app. My wife and I work in industries where we are not allowed to have our mobile phones with us. Imagine my horror when setting the app up on my daughters and wife’s phones and logging in to then get notifications on the phone last logged in that they’ve been logged out! What on earth is this? I had to find an alternative to Nest Protect as they discontinued their excellent smoke/CO2 alarms. I’ve literally wasted nearly £150 on x-sense hardware !!! ### 1/5 — System armed *2026-05-24, version 1.39.0* How do you disable the very loud notifications at midnight saying “system armed” or even the loud beep??? I tested with real smoke to make sure that they were working. I installed five in total, four in my house and one in my attached garage. Gives me great peace of mind that if one of them detects smoke they all go off so that I will for sure hear the alarm even if I’m sleeping in another room. The other thing I appreciate is that their app is stable and works really well.
