### 4/5 — Better than the free app

*2023-12-14, version v2.1.1*

I like it a lot better than the free app. The biggest oversight is that it doesn’t remember which band you used previously for each exercise. I have to look back at the last log every time and enter them in before I start. Which is made harder by having to answer “no” each time when it warns about 0 reps.

### 4/5 — Good app except…

*2023-08-07, version v2.1.1*

Getting annoyed that I have to log in everyday. Going back to the original x3 app until this is removed.

### 4/5 — Good, but...

*2022-02-18, version v2.1.1*

Been using the app for months. Generally love how it keeps me on track. Miss the videos from the old app. When one moves up a band size...it doesn't account for the change in force or show any difference in tracking. It just shows a lesser number of reps. The force graph does nothing at all. Step up on the metrics please. I'd be willing to pay for better!

### 4/5 — Could be great

*2021-03-09, version v2.1.1*

This is a very good app to use with the X3 bar. With a few more analytics it could be great. Specifically, I am looking for the total load lifted cumulatively during each workout and also for each individual exercise. It would be able to track this over time, and perhaps with a moving average. That should be easy to do given that all of the workout data would already be populated. Thanks!

### 4/5 — X3 Bar App

*2021-02-21, version v2.1.1*

Very good app for tracking. However, I wish You could add exercises (shrugs for example) and I wish you could add other bands (serious steel bands). Make those changes and it would be 5 stars.

UPDATE: I’m an idiot. Now that I found those features, I give it 5 stars.

### 3/5 — Log in

*2020-06-10, version v2.1.1*

Why does this app now require a login?

### 4/5 — Much Better than X3 free app!

*2020-06-08, version v2.1.1*

Nice product. Could tweak it for ease of use but how can I switch to different colored bands that are from different companies like blue or yellow??

### 3/5 — Password reset doesn’t work

*2020-03-30*

I’ve reset this three times and it still won’t let me in with no facility to contact the developer apart from through a review?

### 5/5 — Great app

*2020-01-23, version v2.1.1*

Easy to use app. Also, the developer is super responsive to questions and feedback. Don’t hesitate to buy.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2020-01-23, version v2.1.1*

I’ve been using it for a while now. It’s really easy to use and it keeps getting better with each release.

### 4/5 — Fantastic

*2020-01-18, version v2.1.1*

Overall, this is a great app - well designed in every way. Just plain helpful. I would like to, however, to be able to edit templates and order of exercises.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — App good, don’t force accounts

*2021-08-23, version v2.1.1*

App was good until the update that forces logins. I paid for the app and don’t want to give them my info just to continue using it. Make an offline version I refuse to sign up for another account.

Edit: yes I purchased before logins and haven’t used for a year having to stop training due to an injury, went to start again and locked out of an app I had paid for and used daily.

### 1/5 — You can add bands…

*2021-07-23, version v2.1.1*

… but your last workout bands aren’t saved. So, you need to remember bands and reps from your previous workout or you won’t know if you improved until you save your workout and review progress.

For me, this renders it virtually worthless. Increasing reps is a big motivator for me. When I think I’m cooked, knowing I need only one or two reps to improve will get me those reps.

If I could customize bands in the other X3 app, I’d delete this one so fast it would hurt my thumb.

### 1/5 — Missleading

*2020-02-19, version v2.1.1*

I have been a user of the X3 Bar for the past 18 months. I have seen great improvements with it. I purchased this app because it stated that it would be shared with Family Sharing. It states that on the app site. After downloading it and attempting to use with family share I am told that I need to upgrade to pro. This was not what was stated on the site. It is miss leading and deceptive.

### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time

*2019-10-27, version v2.1.1*

Don’t waste your time or money with this app. It works maybe 25% of the time. It was ask you to log in with an email and password. Only once in a while can you actually login without it saying “invalid credentials.”

### 2/5 — Not as good as the free app

*2023-04-21, version v2.1.1*

The free app shows your progress much better. The only thing this app has that the free version doesn’t is the option to show whether you use double bands or not, which isn’t necessary because it’s not like you’re going to use a single band for chest; it’s always doubled.

### 3/5 — Good, could be better

*2022-12-27, version v2.1.1*

The one feature I would like to see that is missing is the ability to show the most recent number of reps and bands used when logging an exercise. This feature exists in the official app, but not here. Seems like a nobrainer feature to add. Would give it five stars if they would add this.

### 3/5 — Review

*2021-06-19, version v2.1.1*

I just bought the app. I like the analytics and the interface more than the free app. However, I miss the instructional videos which are on the free app but not the paid. Listening to instructions for form is really helpful. I recommend keeping the free app for the videos and hope they are added to the paid app soon.

### 3/5 — Good, But Clunky

*2021-06-15, version v2.1.1*

I like this app, but it needs some basic features. I like that I can setup templates of exercises - but I can only add or remove a template. There needs to be a way to EDIT a template. It is frustrating to make a mistake on a template and have to delete it and start over to fix it. Also, please allow the user to delete the X3 bands AND routines if they want to. I will never use most of the X3 bands as a female and don’t want them cluttering up my selections. Since this is the only band tracking app out there - flexibility is key for users being able to track their band workouts that are NOT X3 :).

### 3/5 — Doesn’t blow me away, but it works.

*2021-01-03, version v2.1.1*

I use it, but I would t say it is overly functional. I would think as a fitness app, it would have a bit more perspective analytics to improve performance.

### 3/5 — Frustrating glitches

*2021-01-03, version v2.1.1*

I will start with something positive and say that it seems like this app has been modified several times to meet the needs of its users so that is pretty cool.

I am new to this app but here are a couple issues I am having with it right away.

I am finding it very difficult and frustrating to control the text cursor in the “notes” section when logging the work out. When I try to move it to correct typos, it jumps all over the place and I have almost no control over it. Please fix this because it is very frustrating.

The only other thing I noticed is that the metronome does not seem to be working. Maybe there is a specific way to turn it on and I have not found it yet. When I try to click on it it just doesn’t start working. Is there something I am missing here?

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — App or website is not working

*2024-01-23, version v2.1.1*

I’ve been using this app for eight months and have really enjoyed it.

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2022-08-18, version v2.1.1*

This is the best app to use for the X3 bar. The only thing that I think is missing would be to add the serious steel bands and their colors. Serious steel makes shorter bands that many people have bought to use for chest press, crossovers, and tricep push downs. Just my 2¢.

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2021-05-12*

Keeps me accountable !!!

### 5/5 — X3

*2021-04-13, version v2.1.1*

Worth every penny! Buy the book also game changer.

### 5/5 — A must have

*2021-03-04, version v2.1.1*

This app is a must have for the X3 system. MUCH better than the included app, but I do appreciate them offering it. This app is easy and I haven’t run into any bugs after 5 weeks of use. Thank you for making this!!!!

### 5/5 — Best program for the Resistance Band community

*2021-02-26, version v2.1.1*

I have been using this app for 3 months and counting. You can add exercises and any band of any brand into the database. It will show plots of your progress. You can add comments, and even add progress pictures.

Overall it’s a powerful program, not only for the X3 Elite Set but any resistance band program.

### 5/5 — X3log

*2020-08-07, version v2.1.1*

The app is pretty great as is, but I would suggest the ability to link a smart scale to the app to also track weight, body fat, and etc. Overall decent app though.

### 5/5 — Amazing, worthevery penny and more

*2020-07-16, version v2.1.1*

Outstanding

### 5/5 — Good app

*2020-03-03, version v2.1.1*

Very well done app. The only thing that would be nice to see is a notes section under each separate exercise.

### 5/5 — Best App for X3

*2020-01-23, version v2.1.1*

Best App for X3. Hands down beats the one supplied by the company. This app is fully customizable - you can add bands that aren’t X3 branded as well as make personally tailored workouts with exercises that you name what you want - and more. Very customizable.

Also, the developer is very responsive to input and suggestions and is always looking for ways to make the app better. Can’t ask for much more!
