Soweit nich schlecht aber, verbinden mit x-plane 10 funktioniert leider nicht(iPad Air), stürzt immer ab, sonst wären es 5 Sterne. Und leider fehlt der neue Doha Airport OTHH noch immer, schade, sonst prima. ### 4/5 — Just what I needed *2014-04-12, version 2.3* Brilliant. Getting the radio frequencies out of x-plane is a pain. If you use x-plane to learn to fly, and use it to fly from random places, this is perfect for telling x-plane where in the world to start you from, and giving you all the radio frequencies to do it 'properly'. I'm lucky enough to have all the Saitek gear, so I dont even need half this app (to help set the avionics) but I imagine this is also a killer feature if you don't have the corresponding hardware. It also has a mapping function like Xmapper, so you don't need both. Bad-ish: Presentation is quite raw, pressing VFR on the map and zooming out might have encouraged the 'low memory - ios may terminate this app' message. I feel I'd like to share the airport PDFs with iBooks or email, but that's just a suggestion. I'm happy! This fixes my x-plane pain. ### 5/5 — Brilliant app for x plane users *2014-03-15, version 2.3* Ive been using this app now for 6 months and cant believe how good it is ! Great supplemental app! ### 5/5 — extrem preiswert! *2012-11-03, version 1.1* Tolles Programm! Die "moving map" bewegt sich flüssig, zoom und pinch wie vom iPad gewohnt. Die anderen Flugzeuge im LAN sind korrekt nummeriert und mit 1 Tap zu zentrieren. Es gibt aber auch was zu bemängeln: das Einstellen der Frequenz in X-Plane wird mit einem Ping-Ton signalisiert, aber trotz Erfolg kommt jedesmal die Box, dass 3 Sekunden lang kein Paket empfangen wurde. Das muss man wegblicken, das stört. Außerdem verschwindet häufig das Suchfeld über der Airport Liste. Vielleicht kann man das noch fixen? Vielleicht könnte man noch ne rote Flugplan-Linie darstellen? ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Impossible to connect to xplane11 *2025-09-30, version 3.2.14* Like I said, I tried the auto search as well as filling out the ip and port and nothing works. Also I wanted to try the airport database feature but pressing try out caused the app to crash. Wouldn’t you expect the APPLE iPad version of XAirports to work with the APPLE MAC Version of Plane?? Just saying it seemed like a reasonable expectation. If and when they connect this with the Mac XPlane, I will revisit my review. ### 1/5 — Live tracking *2012-08-17, version 1.0* Totaler müll app geht net richtig nicht kaufen ### 3/5 — Crashes using favorites *2021-02-01, version 3.2.14* App (iPhone) crashes if you pull up an airport from favorites. As long as you type out the ICAO in the search, it works. I only use this to pull up ILS codes so I can't comment on connection with sim. If this is fixed 5 starts Edit: iPad version seems to not have the crashing issue from the favorites list. Both still save a lot of time not having to look up an airport ILS info and having to DL the PDF chart. ### 3/5 — Support reagiert nicht auf Fehler *2015-01-31, version 2.3* Habe einige Umrechnungsfehler bei Geschwindigkeit und Höhe in der Software entdeckt.daraufhin habe ich den Support angeschrieben. Leider reagierte der Support jedoch auf keine der E-Mails. ### 3/5 — Would be brilliant if; *2013-07-01, version 1.22* The idea is good and very helpful, but I am unable to get features such as 'live tracking' and 'changing your radio frequencies' to work. I've followed the instructions but the app can't connect to my Mac, I had a play around but no luck. Apart from the instructions there's no trouble shooting to help you fix your problems, this is very frustrating. However if you can get the app to connect to your game it would be worth it for 69p. ### 4/5 — Très pratique *2022-09-19, version 3.2.14* Je l'utilise depuis 4 mois et j'en suis très content. Il me sert de moving map mais il est aussi utile pour rentrer les fréquences VOR ILS et de COM directement de l'Ipad à Xplane. Il suffit d'un clic. Il contient les fréquences de quasiment tous les aéroports.Seul regret, les FIX ne sont pas intégrées et le plan de vol n'est pas affiché. MAJ 2022, l’app plante dès que je clique sur une épingle rouge sur la map alors que je suis mon avion. Heureusement, quand je fais une recherche par aéroport, les infos s’affichent sans plantage. MAJ: L’application fonctionnera t-elle avec X-Plane 12 ? Daher wieder volle Punktzahl. Update 14.11.15: ....die soll ich jetzt kaufen, hatte ich aber schon. Ich hätte ja den Entwickler direkt angemailt und darüber informiert, die Info ist wohl tief vergraben. Ich hoffe das wird schnell gefixt. Ich finde die app sehr gut.
