It works reasonably well and as each update is realised it gets better and better. However on the phone screen there is a lot of space taken up with score board and other things. I’ve seen lots of parents at these football games using this useless system struggling with tracking and zoom please show us football parent love. We spend more than those sports. Cannot track lacrosse anymore, camera kept turning back to center. They also updated the scoreboard and removed majority of the colors. Terrible tracking. No improvement with updates. Still can’t live stream reliably. I use it for 7 a side Touch Rugby League and it seems to lock onto whoever is closest to the camera and not track the ball at all. There is no manual zoom so you have to rely on the AI zoom which doesn’t always work when you want it to. I’m hoping they keep working on it to make it the product as good as it can be. ### 3/5 — Da migliorare *2026-04-19, version 4.4.2* Ho appena acquistato XbotGo Falcon ed é fatto molto bene segue perfettamente i movimenti e le azioni durante una partita di calcio. Serve però un aggiornamento urgente. Non è possibile elaborare e controllare tutto da cellulare è troppo piccolo si fa molta fatica. Sarebbe perfetto se ci fosse una app utilizzabile sia da iPad che da PC. Set the boundaries or anything. Clear step backwards. Developers obviously don’t use the app just push worthless updates that make it harder to use. ### 1/5 — アプリカメラ *2026-05-10* アプリのカメラの起動に失敗するようになり、使えなくなった ### 1/5 — Latest Update Fails *2026-05-03, version 4.4.3* The XbotGo hardware is at best an 85% solution on a good day, but 70% on a bad day. They use a heat map based model to track the players and the gimbal follows a centroid of the players. When it play it is good enough most of the time, but it will lose tracking during stoppages and substitutions. The fix was manual adjustments that were easy using the second screen feature and also had a scoreboard you could control. The latest update killed that. The manual remote disconnects every game and doesn’t automatically reconnect. The only option now is to pause recording, let it reset, and hope that it tracks again. Until they fix it, I would not buy XbotGo. Nine times out of 10 it is down and is weird when you were trying to record certain parts. Best thing that I have ever purchased. Currently, the reliance on the remote limits the app’s convenience and effectiveness. nu Suggestion for Developers: It would be highly beneficial if the app could support a unified login system that allows seamless control from other devices. Being able to operate the XBot Camera remotely using another device logged into the same account would be a game-changer, making the system much more versatile and eliminating the need for the physical remote. This would provide users with more flexibility, especially when managing the camera from different locations or on the go. Overall, adding this feature would elevate the app’s practicality and usability for a broader range of scenarios. ### 5/5 — Latest update bricked *2025-10-04* The latest update bricked the xbot Chameleon for me. It connects to the device but will not let me record. Other than that the device has been good for sports like soccer that is hard to watch and generally you are ok with only 80 of the game being filmed.
