### 4/5 — Rivalry and fun!

*2024-11-11*

I love this game and it’s so addicting to play. I’ve been playing for a bit now and I’m now #3 in JV (14:48.7), #2 in Varsity (14:54.3) and #9 in elite (15:03.8).This game is so fun and I wish there was more content but besides that 5 stars!

### 5/5 — Insanely Addicting Progression

*2024-10-11*

Been playing this app for the past year, and have been particularly focused on fine-tuning my strategy over the past three months…the primary element that keeps me engaged and hungry for more is the steady, incremental progression up the leaderboards.

Started from the bottom, and through consistent practice, worked my way up to JV #1 (14:49.1), Varsity #1 (14:54.9), and Elite #4 (15:02.1 …oof). As of now, I am desperately hoping and feverishly praying for an update with additional content, as well as faster competition in JV and Varsity.

While I haven’t touched the course in a few months, I have EVERY REASON TO BELIEVE that my 14:49.1 will stand the test of time as the FASTEST OVERALL registered time in the game. Perhaps it will gain some cult-like recognition and following?

EDIT: My brother, Theo, has since entered the conversation, and he has dropped an UNTOUCHABLE 14:52.5 IN VARSITY (I still haven’t fully processed it after several days)…if anything, a ZIN SIBLING will be the NEXT to set new frontiers in this app. And there IS a THIRD sibling that I’m training now, Matteo. STAY TUNED.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2024-05-09, version 1.0*

I love cross country so much and I need something to do over the offseason other than training

### 5/5 — Insanely Addicting Progression

*2024-04-22*

Been playing this app for the past six months, and have been particularly focused on fine-tuning my strategy over the past three months…the primary element that keeps me engaged and hungry for more is the steady, incremental progression up the leaderboards.

Started from the bottom, and through consistent practice, worked my way up to JV #1 (14:49.8), Varsity #1 (14:55.3), and Elite #5 (15:05.2 …oof).

As of now, I am desperately hoping and feverishly praying for an update with additional content, as well as faster competition in JV and Varsity.*

*waiting on your move, Clint Stapleton…

### 5/5 — This game is fun

*2024-01-08, version 1.0*

One of the few cross country games in the App Store and it’s surprisingly really fun. Happy to finally see a game of my sport.

### 5/5 — XC at its finest

*2023-10-12, version 1.0*

Phenomenal game! This game changed my life and is my life

### 5/5 — Life changing game

*2023-10-12, version 1.0*

I was a loser before I found this game… out of shape, wife took the kids, unemployed. That all changed the moment I started playing this game. Now I’m in the best shape of my life, just like the little guys in the game. I’m happily married to 5 wives and 16 children between all of them, and I’m still unemployed (too much time spent having to play this game) but now I’m worth 1 gazillion dollars. 100% recommend downloading this game, it’ll do you and your Johnson justice

### 5/5 — Love this game as a runner myself!

*2023-10-04, version 1.0*

It’s already entertaining, but we need more players and supporters to make it even better

### 5/5 — Sick game

*2023-10-03, version 1.0*

As a CC runner I LOVE this game. I’m still not on the leaderboards, but I’ll get there. I also think this game has potential for updates later on. One thing I would hope to be added is the ability to change your name, not a big deal just kinda annoying. GREAT GAME!

### 5/5 — The Road to Glory

*2023-09-15, version 1.0*

It's a brutal sport we commit to, the miles and miles we endure, the laps on the track we pound through every single day to better ourselves as much as we can. The glory of being at the top is only surpassed by the happiness of finally achieving the aspiring dream of victory. It feels like heaven when you're at the top, like nothing could ever stop you, but unfortunately this is the easy part of competing. Greatness can cease in the snap of a finger, and it can feel like all of your hard work was to no avail: that is a dangerous byproduct of injuries and the mental battles we all fight behind the scenes, away from the trails and track. I've seen those close to me struggle with these issues recently, and it pains me to see them not be in the place that they so assuredly deserve, right at the top of the running world. To all of y'all, from the ruin of team dissolution to recovering from what feels like the hundredth injury, let me just say that your resilience does not go unnoticed, and that eventually your determination will lead you to where you want to bet 🐐🐐

### 5/5 — Good game

*2023-09-11, version 1.0*

Its really fun. I wish there was a mode where you could train your guy and do workouts and stuff, then that would help you get faster.

### 5/5 — I love this game

*2023-09-09, version 1.0*

It’s well made, simple easy to learn but hard to master, with an active player base and lots of potential for updates. I’ve been looking for a game like this for years and this is almost exactly what I’ve envisioned. Thank you developer!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Go Outside Instead

*2023-09-22, version 1.0*

First of all, I personally found this game quite boring. I suggest games like Temple Run or Subway Surfers as better quality “running” games. Second of all, why are there only male racers? Finally, if you really crave the adrenaline rush you get from pretending to run in a cross country meet, maybe try downloading ZRX where you can listen to zombies and other creatures trying chasing you. Overall, not my cup of tea.

### 1/5 — This game is terrible save yourself

*2023-09-08, version 1.0*

You get spun around 360 degrees and slow down a ton just from touching another player..

### 1/5 — THE GREATEST APP OF ALL TIME!!!!!!

*2023-06-17, version 1.0*

Shoutout to Carson and the Rocky class of 2023!!!!!!!!!!

🏃‍♂️💨

### 2/5 — Meh

*2023-11-05, version 1.0*

The elbows are too much, fix it.

### 2/5 — Good game

*2023-09-09, version 1.0*

It’s a great game and I love the concept but the biggest problem is getting hit by the other runners since it messes up the entire race. Other than that it is great. Please fix.

### 2/5 — Great concept, bad features

*2023-09-06, version 1.0*

The main problem is the collision is very bad and a slight tap can turn your character 180 degrees around. Ruined multiple tries and makes the game borderline unplayable.

### 4/5 — More

*2025-10-19*

More runners you go against I’m begging 🥺 you please you will get everybody playing it and it will be way more fun and different courses please I want it to be like a actual crosscountry race please I’m begging you

### 4/5 — Insanely Addicting, But Filled With Bots

*2024-12-17, version 3*

Been playing this app for the past year, and have been particularly focused on fine-tuning my strategy over the past three months…the primary element that keeps me engaged and hungry for more is the steady, incremental progression up the leaderboards.
SERIOUS question though, with the influx of sub-14:20 times (and even somebody going sub-14) at the Freshman difficulty level:

Is there a shortcut on the course (logically, within the final kilometer) that I’m unaware of? OR are certain other folks being given much faster computer competitors to draft?

I mean, c’mon, seriously. 13:59 defies logic and comprehension, from a technical standpoint, UNLESS the stamina system itself was completely overhauled (and it wasn’t). Sub-14:20 alone literally seems impossible given the current parameters, and I’ve fully analyzed EVERYTHING in this game.

The game is entertaining, but it’s PAINFULLY obvious that folks are either cheating/hacking, or gaining unfair advantages of some kind.
Honestly, the nail in the coffin was that sub-14.

I implore y'all to clean things up. Please, for the love of the game.

### 4/5 — More courses and hills.

*2024-11-20, version 3*

This game is great! I think it would be awesome if there were different courses that could possibly be harder or easier than another course. For example, one course could be a more hilly course and another course could be flat. Could also be cool if we had like seasons or even teams.

### 4/5 — Rivalry and fun!

### 5/5 — Awesome game

I’ve spent so much time this is so fun

### 5/5 — Insanely Addicting Progression

*2024-12-14*

Been playing this app for the past year, and have been particularly focused on fine-tuning my strategy over the past three months…the primary element that keeps me engaged and hungry for more is the steady, incremental progression up the leaderboards.

Serious question though, with the influx of sub-14:20 times (and even somebody knocking at the door of sub-14) at the Freshman difficulty level:

Is there a shortcut on the course that I’m unaware of? OR are certain other folks randomly being given much faster computer competitors to draft?

I mean, c’mon, seriously.
14:01 defies logic and comprehension, from a technical standpoint…literally seems impossible given the current parameters, and I’ve fully analyzed everything in this game.

And yes, I’ve even made sure that I have the most recent version of the app, and that there’s no new power-up system or something behind it, as it would seem…

### 5/5 — Best game ever

*2024-11-30*

Absolutely great game with no Wi-Fi for long. Bus journey would absolutely recommend download download

### 5/5 — Rivalry and fun!

EDIT: It has been 2 weeks and I am the first person to be 1st in all 4 categories! Freshman #1 with 14:44.5, JV #1 with 14:40.9, Varsity #1 with 14:46.7, and elite with 14:54.0!

### 5/5 — Insanely Addicting Progression

EDIT: My brother, Theo, has since entered the conversation, and he has set entirely new benchmarks…dropping an UNTOUCHABLE 14:47.9 in JV, an equally eye-watering 14:52.5 in Varsity, and even becoming the first Zin sibling to go sub-15 in Elite with his 14:59.9.
And there IS a THIRD sibling that I’m training now, Matteo. STAY TUNED, comrades.
