## What is Xenowatch?

Initiated by the African Centre for Migration & Society (ACMS) at the University of the Witwatersrand (see details here www.migration.org.za), Xenowatch is a project that monitors incidents of xenophobic violence in South Africa. More specifically Xenowatch aims to track all forms of xenophobic threats and attacks on people and property as well government and other relevant stakeholders’ responses to xenophobic incidents.
