## What is XFR?

This app allows Magnetospeed (MS) chronograph users to transfer velocity data to their iOS device. A user can manage multiple data series within the app and also send data via email or back it up with iCoud.  The app can also clear the current data from the MS device and also change/adjust the MS device settings.

Note: The XFR app needs permission to access your iPhone's microphone.

It got 4 stars just because of how you have to hook up to down load the info to your phone. Other than that it’s an amazing Chronograph.

I have been using the Magnetospeed V3 for about a year now and it is without any doubt the best chronograph on the market.  I also purchased the Magnetospeed XFR and connected it to my iPhone 11 Pro Max using the Apple lightening to 3.5mm connector.  It works perfectly.  

It is so cool to be able to capture my shot groups on my iPhone while at the range and edit and make notes as needed.  Great product and great app.

Fast way to store and keep track of your data.

Bought a V3 recently, still just playing with it to get it working. Started with 45 Long Colt, had some trouble getting readings. Couple of tries later, got readings, but they were not believable. Results should have been in the 700-900 FPS range, but I had readings of 2500, 1700, 1100, etc. Called MagnetoSpeed, they suggested setting sensitivity to 1, which I will do.

Then plugged in the XFR, and played with that for a couple minutes. During this time, I was nagged multiple times in a few minutes for a review. There was no apparent way to say “not now” that lasted more than 30 seconds. 

You want a review - here it is......nagware rates a 1, regardless of how good the rest of the product is.
