## What is XianNow Camera?

Turn everyday moments into your own story.

XianNow brings creative looks into the camera's live view. Choose a look, preview the scene and press the shutter. You can also design your own looks with frames, text, filters and visual effects.

Choose a look and shoot
Explore themed looks and atmosphere presets. Preview your composition while shooting, and adjust filters, text and effects before you capture the moment.

Create your own style
Edit visual elements, text and filters, then save and manage your personal looks. Create or choose a photo companion to join the scene.

Let the day set the mood
Enable local weather atmosphere to change the app's mood with the weather and time of day. Location access is optional; you can still take photos without it.

Keep your photos close
Capture history and personal creations are stored primarily on your device. Save photos to your system photo library. This version does not offer an app account, cloud backup or cross-device sync. Uninstalling the app, clearing its data or changing devices may result in the loss of local content. Save photos you want to keep to your photo library.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.8 — 2026-10-28

• Updated front-camera selection and switching compatibility.
• See a message when the camera is busy or cannot switch.
• Updated viewfinder scheduling during consecutive shots.

### 1.0.7 — 2026-10-27

fix bugs

### 1.0.6 — 2026-10-25

1. One roll, nine frames. Follow your progress in the viewfinder, then develop a finished roll into a contact sheet to save or share.
2. Open straight into the camera, with a clear count of photos taken in your current session.
3. A refreshed film box, bill and My Now, with photos you can swipe through.
4. Contact sheets follow your photos’ aspect ratio and keep every photo fully in frame.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-10-22

1. Every framed look now has its own finish. 86 looks get an image treatment that matches their theme: TVs show scan lines, phosphor glow and curved glass, newspapers get halftone dots and newsprint, holographic packs catch rainbow glare, instant-film looks get richer color, and Halloween looks turn dark and eerie. What you see in the viewfinder matches the sample and the final photo.
2. The finish moves in the viewfinder. Snow, rolling bands, flicker and tape glitches play live, and your shot freezes one frame of it.
3. Game on no longer has a purple cast, so skin tones look natural.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-10-21

1. Meet Machine View. Seven new looks with a cool, surveillance-style grade and boxes that follow faces in frame, tagged Admin, Primary Asset, Threat and more. Machine Decides gives everyone in frame their own identity. Find them all under the new Machine View category, right next to Halloween.
2. A Halloween shelf. A new Halloween category, right after New, gathers all the Halloween looks in one place.
3. More accurate New and categories. New looks appear by release date, and cloud looks land in the categories they belong to.
4. Smoother browsing, steadier framing. The home feed reloads images less often, and framing now works correctly with more frame artwork sizes.
