## What is XiBIT?

The XiBIT app turns your smartphone into an information guide: Find out about objects in museums and other showrooms, listen to audiocommentaries and visit points of interest on your trip. Watch infoguides from XiBIT users, who can describe objects with images, text, audio, videos, links and geodata under www.xibit.info. The app combines a search function, maps for finding near content, a numpad and a QR code scanner for recalling objects directly. Find out about exciting things via a map which shows profiles around you.
