Not able to acknowledge multiple active tickets at once. It doesn’t feel very native, not like its clicking iOS buttons, more like loading theme then web page. It would feel a lot slicker if you could do more iOS native feeling interactions, things like being able to select multiple events at once to respond to them together (after clicking a button at the top to go into select mode), or being able to swipe individual events left/right to quickly respond ### 3/5 — Custom notifications - want to use my own sounds *2019-06-23* It would be nice if we could choose our own alert sounds from what we have either purchased or have on our iPhone or other device. Only being allowed to use the ones that are included on the app is less than satisfying. It would also be good if we could choose different alert sounds based on either priority or on whether the message just informative so we know how critical it is for us to look at the notification. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work on iPhone 6S *2019-03-01, version 3.19.1* I have had some problems being unable to login since the upgrade before this one. No matter how many times I check my details to make sure they are correct, I couldn’t login. Now this version won’t even let me paste my host address, and that’s when it actually loads. Please make this compatible for older phones (I have the current iOS, which I’ve had no trouble using). ### 1/5 — App crashing before login *2018-11-13* The app is crashing every time I set the hostname and try to get into the login screen. **Developer response:** Hi Alex001co! Sorry to hear the latest update caused issues for you. When you say "deleting device registration" do you mean your account was removed from the app? Or that the account exists but turned of PUSH notifications? We haven't heard of this occurring with other users but we would be interested to get more information to help us diagnose the problem. If you are open to helping us find the problem and lead us to a fix, please open support ticket at http://support.xmatters.com and we can help you from there. ### 3/5 — UI needs update for iPhone X *2018-05-27* UI has yet to be updated for iPhone X which makes navigation and look around the app difficult in some cases. Please update the UI to interact with newer devices using the full screen. **Developer response:** Hi CobraBK! Thanks! ### 1/5 — Buggy *2018-04-26* When I select any tab within the app, I get the following notification: "You do not have permission to access this information. Verify your xMatters account details, or contact your xMatters administrator." Once I clear the pop-up the page then loads. It's almost as if the pop-up automatically come if a paper takes longer than a predetermined amount of time. The page does eventually load but it's frustrating that the pop-up appears any time I try to do anything in the app **Developer response:** Hi! I cannot even open the app anymore. **Developer response:** We have fixed the bug in the latest version. Please update to the most current version (3.8.1). When I look at schedule, I have no idea what group I’m scheduled for ### 1/5 — Notifications not really custom *2024-01-17, version 5.0* Custom notification sounds are only a set of xmatter sounds unlike it’s Android app counterpart that allows access to all your truly sounds. Android version made it easier to differentiate between properties. ### 1/5 — Landscape Mode and better notification sounds *2023-12-04* The app does what I need when I’m on call, but we truly need better notification sounds that can alert but won’t startle. We could also truly use a landscape mode on iPad. My sits in a Magic Keyboard all day long, so getting an alert and then having to take it out of the Magic Keyboard to interact with the content is a frustrating experience. ### 1/5 — i don’t like xMatter *2021-08-31* because it means I need on call ### 1/5 — Clicking ACCEPT or REJECT from Lock Screen does nothing *2021-02-23* I hate having to unlock and open the app just to accept a page. I always forget when I respond to an alert that in need to unlock before accepting the alert via the notification, otherwise responding does nothing. If you need to ensure it’s me that’s responding, prompt for biometric verification like other apps. ### 1/5 — Edit message text area won’t scroll down despite 2000 characters *2020-09-08* So basically get one line of message text. Can’t scroll the cursor down either. Typed several lines couldn’t finish. So had to select all and delete. Then start over. Not to mention I can customize the app myself! ### 5/5 — Remotely kick off calls *2013-05-28, version 2.1.0* Using xMatters on the desktop is great for kicking off some event notifications from time to time - and yes I do know there are integrations that can tie in automatic notifications to tousle tickets, monitoring, and other stuff in my environment. However, the ability to access my custom built communication panels is pretty cool! I just tried kicking off an automated conference call with 3 other teams - and it would pretty slick. I didn't have to know who was on call, I just selected the 3 groups I needed and added myself. The xMatters system looked up who is on call and pulled them all into the conference call with me. Two of the three people were on in about 30 seconds, and the third person was on in about a minute. This will save us a bunch of time. Allow the ability to override silent features on the iPhone.
