Otherwise, it works fine. Just what I was looking for at a reasonable price. ### 3/5 — It is good but redundant *2026-04-08, version 2.1.49* The app is great and the loops for the most part are solid, the problem is once you have hear 10-15 there is no need to pay for the app anymore cause they are all the same. The app is currently on probation and I may delete it. ### 4/5 — Amazing!!!……but… *2026-04-04, version 2.1.48* First let me say I’ve been using XMELoops for over 2 years now and I absolutely LOVE this app. Love it more than CDUB and any other app honestly. The versatility that you get from these loops are unmatched. While being able to set up different playlists is awesome and creating your loops by changing the name is great as well! THE INCORPORATED XME PADS are great, BUT being able to adjust the highs and lows in them would be even greater. Example: The organ preach patch is so great!!! It’s literally my favorite, HOWEVER because of the muddiness of the lows (it literally sounds like the mic was next to the sub or something), I can’t use it. Even with taking all the lows out of the subs and in the mix, it just rumbles and its more distracting than anything. Another one would be the Cloud and Smooth Mood. Again don’t get me wrong they are all good, I would love a mini mixer or something to adjust maybe the intensity of the pad. Again this is an amazing app, I LOVE IT!! At the same time I’m tired of trying to build loops from scratch and don’t have all the tools like Logic and Abelton. I also love it because it’s plug in and play keys without always depending on a drummer who can be difficult due to their attitude and it’s also a great tool for drummers who love it and are not insecure. ### 5/5 — THE BEST APP *2025-12-07, version 2.1.44* They have every song you could ever want or need and if something you need isn’t there, they will get it there in a timely fashion. Tracks are top-tier and customer service is a one definitely worth the money. The bell sound or cymbals used is a bit obnoxious sometimes, but otherwise amazing. Maybe if they had more options for mid tempo beats with a Neo soul feel, or a smooth drum beat that doesn’t get TOO groovy. But I digress. It’s an amazing app, i will recommend this app to anyone ### 5/5 — Great Competitor to Loops by Cdub *2025-07-15* All in all I do prefer this app, sonically I like majority of these loops more than Cdubs, and I like the price better than cdub too. I wish I could give 4.5 stars. My only 2 gripes is a few of the loops for the songs don’t exactly have the same groove or feel as the original composition, which is vital for a loop to do, unless your revamping the song on purpose, but that’s not most of the time.. and the other gripe is that sometimes I wish the loop was the same as it is in the song, for example “Search Me Lord” by Kevin Lemons has a very specific loop to the song but in the app, it doesn’t have that distinctive sound, but I understand that’s a very hard thing to do so that’s not a big flaw, but if it can be done that would be dope. The Loop Request feature is an amazing feature that I’ve been using and the fact that they offer it for free is even more of a bonus. So like I said, if I could it 4.5 stars I would. It’s a really good app! **Developer response:** We’ve just reproduced the “Search Me” loop so it’s good to go now. Also, will do the same for any loop you ask for in the loop request function in the app. Thank you for subscribing! Original Reply: We’ve recently reproduced over 750 loops from our original launch. There are now no more old loops in the app. All of them are modern and will match the feel of each song consistently. We have thousands of quality loops and are building every week. After it's on your phone it loads samples and it takes forever all to find out the app is a train wreck and useless still . I erased it immediately. The only thing impressive about it is how bad it is. There's no possible way that it could be one of the top three apps like how it came up. Someone obviously spent a lot of money to make it be the first thing you see. I love that fact that it has drum loops for hundreds of old and newer songs. The only thing that I don’t likes that is sometimes freezes when I am using another app like Worship App, Logic, or playing an wave or mp3 file that I need to play live in a performance and then I come back to XME and it would play the drum loop. It is NOT computer specific because, I use two Macs and two iPads, and my drummer has the same issue with XME.
