## What is XO4?

A tribute to the very first 3D Tic-Tac-Toe I ever played (after typing out the listing on my Thomson TO8D) in the 80s, this game immerses you in the minimalist and strategic atmosphere of early video games... with a modern twist.

You face a sharp artificial intelligence in a revisited version of tic-tac-toe: a 4×4×4 cube where every move counts. Win by aligning 4 pieces in a straight line, whether vertical, horizontal, or diagonal, across all three dimensions.

The gameplay is simple but addictive. The rules are known to everyone, but the field is nothing like the schoolyard tic-tac-toe. The AI observes, anticipates, blocks, and tries to trap you at the slightest mistake. Each game is a fast, elegant, and surprising cerebral duel.

Sober music accompanies you without distraction, while discreet sound effects punctuate your choices, your mistakes... and your victories.
