Doesn’t even notify you anymore. Have all notifications on and you have to check messages to see what you missed. ### 2/5 — No longer compatible with my lights *2024-07-15* Since the new app update my string lights are no longer compatible. The camera lags really bad it sends notifications even when no one is by the camera the battery don't last long in order for the camera to record you need a sim card there is a lot they don't tell you need. They won’t connect. Won’t do anything but beep. I’ve tried resetting the devices, deleting the app and reinstalling, anything I can think of, but they will not work. HOWEVER, it is Constantly saying Offline and not functioning. So is the price really worth the hit and miss peace of mind?! Getting really frustrated with it doing this more frequently than working. Had about 6-8 months now. Worked amazing in the beginning but now barely does. Originally was going to buy several more. Not now. Main reason for buying these particular ones, were No monthly fees. It also does Not allow you to see a preview of a playback. So you have to guess a time and hope for the best. In order to get notifications you have to link your cell and pay. GARBAGE! And then pay for cloud storage. ### 1/5 — Recent Update *2024-10-13* Recent update logged me out of my account. Now I could only login with Apple ID and it now associates the camera linked to another account. I tried disassociating Apple ID from the account but the login page does not allow me to just login with my normal account. My neighbors attacked me on my porch, right in front of the doorbell. Just my luck the doorbell was glitching & kept freezing. Tried communicating with developer, no response to emails. Calling them results in a recording "due to covid the office is closed". No response from support submissions through the app. Website not maintained or updated. Apple support has no answer. Both my Iphone SE and XR using the app have the same issue after updating IOS. Audio is the immediate way of alarm notifications. I love the fact that I don’t have to pay a monthly fee. And the price was very reasonable. The cameras work great and the app is easy to use. We use them to watch over the house when we are not there. I also use them to catch the dog eating off of the table now and then. I would like alerts to pop up if there is a problem at my house and I’m not there. I don’t want to open the app to see if movement or sound has been detected. It has great picture and video quality both in HD and SD. Recommend medium settings for movement. If you don’t want your video to be upside down, don’t turn on flip screen. Only thing I could of asked for was for this kit to include the SD cards for the doorbell and both cameras.
