## What is XOP Firebar?

XOP Firebar turns your iPhone into a working extension on your organisation's XOP Networks switch. It is not a separate calling service: the app registers to your own deployment, hosted or on-premises, so calls run on the infrastructure you already operate.

An extension on a XOP Networks system, provisioned by your administrator, is required to use this app.

A REAL SIP EXTENSION
Sign in to your XOP Networks server and the app registers as a genuine SIP endpoint. Registration state is shown on screen, because that is what decides whether a blast reaches you.

RINGDOWN AND BLAST CALLS ARRIVE AS CALLS
An emergency bridge or ringdown blast rings this handset as a real incoming call, named and answerable straight away — not a notification you have to go and open.

DIAL ANY EXTENSION
A full keypad that sounds the real tone for every key, and names the person as soon as the extension you are typing is one of theirs.

THE WHOLE ACCOUNT, ONE TAP AWAY
Every extension your switch will dial for you, in one list. Tapping an entry opens it rather than ringing it, so nothing here is undoable once a phone starts to ring.

CONFERENCE ROOMS
Move a two-party call into any room on the account, with both of you carried across, and with the video rooms marked before you choose one.

VIDEO AND SCREEN SHARE
The same call carries video. Turn the camera on and everyone lands in a grid that lays itself out from the headcount and the way the phone is held. When somebody shares a screen it takes the stage and the cameras move to a strip above it.

EVERY CONTROL UNDER YOUR THUMB
Mute, speaker, keypad and camera sit low on the screen where a hand already is, and the rings show what is actually reaching the far end.

TONES THE FAR END IS LISTENING FOR
A conference PIN, a menu choice, 11# to mute yourself. Digits are sent down the live call and echoed back on screen so you can see what you sent.

WHAT YOU NEED
- An extension on a XOP Networks server, hosted or on-premises
- The server address, extension and password from your administrator
- Wi-Fi or cellular data that can reach that server

Accounts are not created in the app. Contact your system administrator, or XOP Networks, to have an extension provisioned.
