### 2/5 — Completely Useless

*2024-06-05, version 2.5.14*

I have a class token that will most likely expire before I hear about from support on how to use it, because the app will just run you in the same circle.

### 2/5 — New version of app not so good!

*2023-04-26, version 2.0.3*

I am really not liking the changes that were recently made to this app. My biggest issue is that there no longer seems to be a way to add classes directly to my phone calendar after booking them, so I have to do it manually, which is a pain. There also no longer seems to be a way to contact XPASS through the app. And there is no longer an accurate count or list of the past classes I’ve taken. Also, the “calendar” page seems to make no distinction between classes I’ve taken and those that I’ve registered for but then canceled. The whole thing just seems less user friendly. The only positive I’ve noticed is that it does seem to load more quickly and move more quickly between pages.

### 2/5 — I wanted to love this app

*2022-10-18, version 1.0.1*

I’ve been attending Xponential-owned fitness classes for the past year before downloading Xpass. I thought Xpass would make it easier to schedule classes, but it really doesn’t. You can’t choose a spot when you book CycleBar or Row House classes, so why would I bother booking through the Xpass app?? You can choose your spot when you book through CycleBar or Row House on their own. You can only book classes six days in advance. Elsewhere you can book classes a week in advance. Also, each location’s owner treats people using the app differently than those who book through the location itself. I had a very weird interaction with a Row House owner who called me and insisted I booked a virtual class when in fact I did book an in-person class. All in all not thrilled with the app.

### 3/5 — Love the gyms, App needs major improvement

*2022-05-09, version 0.2.30*

I am a huge fan of all the gyms owned by e
Xponential fitness. They have changed my life and I have been to over a dozen. I was so excited when the X pass came out because I knew that this would help me consolidate all my gym memberships. I gave up after only a month of using it.

1) The pricing is based with points and not dollars which makes it confusing,
 2) The customer service is terrible. I send an email with a question and they email me the next day. I sent him a follow-up question in the email me the next day. Help goes on for days instead of an instant answer.
3) I cannot book a specific bike or rowing machine using this app.
4) When I book a bike or rowing machine using this app I have to wait until 24 hours after users of the gym app have access so I can lose my favorite bike or spot.

### 1/5 — Not worth it

*2022-01-06, version 0.2.21*

I was really hoping this would be a good idea and introduce variety into my workout routine. However, none of the businesses on the app that were in my area accepted XPASS. I tried to cancel and the website didn’t let me. I contacted them about it and they continue to tell me the same steps over that weren’t working. My account got charged for another month and I’m currently trying to get refunded. Feels like they stole my money and wasted my time. Don’t let them waste yours either.

### 3/5 — Options versus number of classes

*2021-12-30, version 0.2.20*

I love having the options to have a monthly pass to workout in different locations. I do wish the classes didn’t use so many points. Due to that limit, the number of classes you can take is also limited unfortunately.

### 2/5 — Execution is poor

*2021-12-22, version 0.2.20*

Like ClassPass, I understand the concept and I like it. However, the execution was done poorly. The UX and user flow is not user-friendly, the app is laggy, and the customer support is lacking. Overall, I don’t think this app and business is fully developed and requires a lot of updates

### 2/5 — Meh

*2021-12-10, version 0.2.20*

When you try to cancel your plan it just gives you an error message.

### 1/5 — Horrible app

*2021-11-17, version 0.2.20*

This app is horrible. It takes forever to load, it constantly glitches, and the user interface is m frustrating. Please update this app! It’s 2021, anyone can make good apps by now. I am contemplating cancelling my membership due to the horrible app and booking experience.

### 1/5 — Points system needs reworking

*2021-11-09, version 0.2.18*

Why are the points for each class so much higher compared to other apps like ClassPass!? This would work better if you are guaranteed X number of classes per tier instead of using points.

Love the concept of taking different classes under the same umbrella company, but execution is terrible.

### 1/5 — close but no cigar

*2021-09-09, version 0.2.5*

Great concept and the studios shown on the app are my ideal blend of workout classes, but the points system doesn’t make sense and is not a good deal. I was offered 3 free classes with my current studio membership and I’m not even able to redeem those. Looks like a good idea but I def don’t recommend. Hopefully they improve it so it’s actually a usable app.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — App is broken around 11:00pm

*2025-02-09, version 2.6.12*

At 11pm before the close of the day i had often put in huge amounts of steps from my workouts, but i just will not add in to the actual day, but instead it adds steps to the next day, it’s totally unfair, I lost my long streaks due to this error. Please fix it.

### 1/5 — Can't book classes

*2023-12-17, version 2.2.5*

The app is unable to recognise a class at a studio that has a recurring schedule, so it lists those classes as always happening on December 31 at 5 pm.

I've had this app for a month now, and still have unable to find a class that I trust matches the real schedule of the studio.

### 1/5 — I wanted to like it!

*2023-11-19, version 2.2.5*

I love the brands on the app but the execution is kind of awful. The app is glitchy and I’m not even sure what you’re supposed to do?

### 1/5 — Imposible to cancel my membership a day after purchase

*2023-05-24, version 2.0.3*

Purchased membership as it was the only membership I could find for Rumble on Thursday. When I realized I could purchase through Rumble, I attempted to cancel on Friday. On Saturday, I attempted to cancel my class and membership but received an error when canceling the class. So I used the chat to have them help, explaining that I could not cancel through the app. Sunday I follow up and have an email saying they could not cancel because I attended the Rumble class.. I did attend the class but I paid through rumble and paid for a membership through Rumble!! So now I have two memberships and am paying twice and no one there can seem to help me. Their customer service is a disaster and they state you can cancel within 3 days of purchase “hassle free” but it has been more than a hassle to get anyone there to help. If you decide to purchase this app, good luck! I never leave reviews unless it is positive normally but this company has me irritated…

### 1/5 — Impossible to cancel and you will never get a refund

*2023-03-02, version 1.1.6*

When I submitted a request to cancel, I was sent automated replies and was never able to get in touch with a real person.

I signed up for the trial and when I typed in my email there was a typo - instead of “@gmail.com” I accidentally typed “@gmail.con” and this should have picked up by the system but because this company is not good at what they do, ofc they didn’t catch it. I never received the trial email but I was charged for 3 months of services before I realized it. And when I requested for a refund they denied me twice without any reasons - just an automated “sorry your request was denied”.

What a shady scammy company! Stay away!!

### 1/5 — XPASS is hard to reach

*2023-01-17, version 1.1.6*

Poor customer service. 2/3 classes I’ve been charged for I didn’t even go to.

Each with a special scenario; one class I couldn’t cancel on XPASS, wasted credits

Other was a class I couldn’t cancel, wasted credits.

I wrote XPASS and still no credits back to account. Not a good first experience.

### 1/5 — Unable to purchase classes

*2022-03-31, version 0.2.30*

Purchased a $150 plan and the system wont let me book any classes. Contacted customer support and have not had a solution.

### 1/5 — The app is terrible

*2022-02-27, version 0.2.22*

Seriously the app is so unorganized and the customer service is not good. Take some
Hints from ClassPass you guys need it. Also the point system is so off. Way to many credits to take one class

### 1/5 — Challenging

*2022-02-16, version 0.2.22*

So far this has been very challenging to use. I paid for credits abs can access each brand I don’t have “claimed accounts.” Spending hours trying to sign up for classes isn’t good.

### 1/5 — Purchased membership - wasn’t able to login/wasn’t refunded

*2022-02-14, version 0.2.22*

I was excited to try XPASS; they’re a partner of the gym I go to, AKT. I signed up, paid for the membership and was never able to login. Every time I would try with my email address, it would say to purchase a plan, even though I had and it was debited from my bank account. I reached out to their support and every time I got an automated email to login with my email address. I sent screenshots showing I tried to login and reset password, and it would say the email wasn’t valid. They stopped responding to me, didn’t refund me and ghosted me. I had to dispute the charge with my bank to get a refund. Awful customer service.

### 5/5 — AMAZING APP

*2023-11-07, version 2.2.5*

This app is so fun & I get to take all my favorite classes whenever! My schedule is always so busy but with xpass I get to book a class on my time when I can make it. ALSO this app has fun games and contests that allow me to win pretty cool prizes that I would actually use, anyways long story short love this app & you should get it!

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2023-08-29, version 2.1.9*

So easy to use and has changed my workout game!

### 5/5 — Best app ever!

*2023-08-29, version 2.1.9*

Since downloading XPASS, it’s helped me stay accountable and more motivated to work out! The deals are amazing and the app is super easy to use. Would recommend to anyone!!

### 5/5 — Love this App!

*2023-08-29, version 2.1.9*

Great complement to my existing exercise routine. Definitely helps with consistency/ motivation. The integration with my existing boutique fitness memberships is cool too.

### 5/5 — Couples workouts are clutch

*2022-05-11, version 0.2.30*

Me and my gf can finally work out together at our favorite places (I love stride and rumble, she loves purebarre and CycleBar) without having to sign up individually at studios.

### 5/5 — Good variety, easy to use

*2022-05-09, version 0.2.30*

I have a lot of studios near me but have never been able to justify a membership to any of them. This is a way better option.

### 5/5 — Deserves no star

*2022-03-28, version 0.2.30*

I just joined onyx level, app doesn’t give me the points to book the classes! Two days now! I’m furious & sent 5 emails ALL unanswered

### 5/5 — Easy to use, LOVE the fitness classesl

*2022-03-02, version 0.2.28*

In the last 3 years, I’ve shifted my workouts a lot and other than weight training, I LOVE attending classes. Xpass gives me access to all the classes I love (like yoga and barre) so everything fits into my workout schedule really well.

Highly recommended!!

Classes/studios are super clean, free shoes and water at cycling, it’s all a really good experience.

### 4/5 — Good idea

*2021-02-01, version 0.1.8*

This is a great idea in theory and the group of brands is great. Except you can’t even sign up for one class with the lowest tiered plan on some of the brands. It’s cheaper to just purchase drop in classes.

### 3/5 — Concept is good - but app is glitchy

*2023-08-22, version 2.1.9*

I love the concept of X-Pass - I was looking for an easy way to be able to attend Xpontential brand fitness classes without committing to specific location memberships. Truly that is the BEST part of this app and I’ve recommended it to so many people! Biggest downfall is how glitchy this app is in general - points will randomly not work when you book a class then charge your credit card for them, the “walk to win” step counter is in a different time zone than what you have in your settings, you can’t pick a bike for CycleBar, and you can’t add classes to your phone calendar. You have to go into the separate brand’s app to pick your bike and add to calendar. There’s also no way to contact customer service? Not sure the cons outweigh the pros just yet but it may get there.
