Except the car door unlocking via your phone is so slow. Can’t adjust charging or see battery %. I’m the primary driver but it my partners car. He’s having no issues newer iPhone than mine), but when he launches the app, mine suddenly updates in line with his 🤷🏼‍♀️Disappointing. ### 4/5 — Connection speed between the phone app and the vehicle. *2026-04-08, version 3.11.0.* This app works flawlessly 99% of the time. The only downside is the wait time for the initial connection between the app and the car when you want to unlock the door. The response time after approaching the vehicle is about 10 seconds, which feels like eternity - especially when it’s raining. Leider gibt es beim Modell P7 einen großen Wermutstropfen: Die App bietet keinerlei Remote-Steuerung oder Kontrolle. Funktionen wie Klimaanlage vorab aktivieren, Fahrzeug orten oder Türen verriegeln - Fehlanzeige. Gerade in dieser Preisklasse und bei einem so tech-orientierten Hersteller hätte ich mehr erwartet. Il serait sympa de rajouter une ouverture du véhicule possible depuis l’Apple Watch. Un élément vraiment utile ce serait d’avoir par défaut l’adresse du rendez-vous planifié le plus proche dans le calendrier lorsqu’on entre dans le véhicule comme cela est possible dans les Tesla. En el coche debe de haber una opción para dejar el climatizador encendido cuando sales del coche. Ahora lo hay solo en la app y durante 15 min. Debe de haber una opción en la pantalla del coche para dejar encendido el climatizador. Por otro lado, falta el dato de Kwh consumidos desde la última carga. I often hear my car unlock when I pass the garage (I have it set for 1m but I’m 5m away). But then it won’t unlock when I walk up to it with a bag of shopping. (All settings are on allow) Very frustrating ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Phone battery usage is too much *2026-07-10, version 3.14.0* If leaving this app open in background (as required for the Bluetooth key to function) the app draws huge amounts of power from iPhone battery. Developer should look at reconfiguring the scanning to ensure not constant load on processor + battery ### 1/5 — Bluetooth key is terrible *2025-09-14, version 3.4.0* The app has some nice to have features (remote summon, heating/cooling etc.) but the main thing it’s used for is locking and unlocking the car which is terrible. Most often won’t unlock at all and have to manually unlock (Bluetooth won’t connect or Bluetooth needs to be manually connected). Xpeng really needs to sort this out. Malheureusement, la clé sur le téléphone ne fonctionne pas à 100 % même avec un iPhone. Sortir l’iPhone de son sac pour appuyer sur déverrouiller, et au final bien plus contraignant qu’une clé. Il faudrait rectifier ça. Il faudrait également rajouter le pourcentage de batterie du véhicule sur l’application.
