## What is XPipe Pro?

XPipe Pro works out the numbers a pipefitter needs on the bench and draws the part
they belong to, so the figure on the screen and the shape in your hands are the
same thing.

Every answer comes with a scale drawing of that exact assembly, dimensioned
where you would put a tape on it — not a stock diagram of something similar.

TWENTY CALCULATORS

Assembly and layout:
• S type — two half elbows in one plane, with or without an insert. Six ways in:
the angle, the offset, the overall length, a fixed 45°, the insert, or the offset
and length together.
• Rolled elbow — a 90° elbow turned about the inlet axis and a fitting that lays
the run flat again, with the same six variants.
• 3D run — a line across X, Y and Z. Both elbow angles are solved separately
because they differ, and the box you measure is drawn around the pipe.
• Elbow cut — cutting an elbow to an odd angle: take-out, heel and throat arcs,
chords, heights, and the arcs to mark back from the face you already have.
• Segmented elbow — a bend built from straight pipe: every segment length, the
saw angle, and the wave to wrap round the tube to mark the cut.
• Branch / fishmouth — one pipe let into another, square or on the skew: the
length to cut, the set-back at up to 24 stations, and the hole to cut in the run.
• Cone layout — the sector to strike on flat sheet for a full or truncated cone,
with the sheet size, the surface area and the volume.
• Square-to-round transitions — twelve pieces off one construction, either
opening the bigger one, plus a round pipe run down into a pyramid.
• Pipe bank — several lines making the same offset, bent at one station: how far
to hold each fitting back so the spacing on the slant matches the straight.

Shop and welding:
• Reducer cut, purge gas, slope, pipe mass, pressure test, thermal expansion,
cold spring, weld bevel, shrinkage allowance, stud bolt torque, and maximum span.
• Scientific calculator — full expression parser, DEG/RAD, memory and history.

A STANDARDS LIBRARY YOU CAN SEARCH BY SIZE

Type a dimension on its own — 53 — and the library returns every standard that
tabulates it, saying why it matched: "in the table · DN 50 · Ø53 × 1.5". An old
drawing quoting a superseded code such as DIN 2463 finds the ISO 1127 that
replaced it.

98 standards across PN-EN, DIN, ISO, SMS and ASME: pipe tables with short, long
and orbital elbow data (EN 10357, ISO 1127, ISO 2037, SMS 1145, ASME B36.10M /
B16.9, DIN 11866, ASME BPE), flange tables (EN 1092-1, ASME B16.5, the hygienic
DIN 11853-2), and 127 isometric symbols from ISO 6412, ISO 4067, ISA-5.1 and
related standards, each one drawn and explained.

FROM SCREEN TO STEEL

Cone, transition, branch and segmented-elbow patterns export at 1:1 — as a DXF
file a plasma table or CAD seat opens directly, or as A4 sheets to tape to the
plate. Every sheet carries a printed ruler, catching a printer that quietly
rescaled the page before the steel does.

MADE FOR THE JOB

• Millimetres or inches, switchable everywhere, with the precision you choose
• Dark for the workshop, light for the sun — the drawings follow
• Root gap subtracted at every welded joint when you want it
• Pinch, drag and spin every drawing; open any of them full screen
• Save a measurement and a note, then tap it later to reopen the screen that
produced it, figures and all
• 18 languages, switchable without restarting: Polish, English, German, Spanish,
French, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Ukrainian, Czech, Slovak, Danish, Swedish,
Norwegian, Hindi, Vietnamese, Thai and right-to-left Urdu
• iPhone and iPad

NO ADS. NO TRACKING. NO ACCOUNT.

XPipe Pro contains no network code at all. Nothing is collected, nothing is
uploaded, and everything works with the phone in flight mode at the bottom of a
tank.

XPipe Pro is a calculating aid, not a substitute for your own judgement or for
the drawings and standards a job is built to. Always check a figure on the steel
before you cut.

5/5 Sterne.

## Frequently asked questions about XPipe Pro

### What types of pipefitting calculations does XPipe Pro offer?

XPipe Pro provides twenty specialized calculators for assembly and layout, including S type elbows, rolled elbows, 3D runs, elbow cuts, segmented elbows, branch/fishmouth, cone layouts, square-to-round transitions, and pipe banks. It also includes shop and welding calculations like reducer cuts, purge gas, slope, pipe mass, pressure tests, thermal expansion, cold spring, weld bevel, shrinkage allowance, stud bolt torque, and maximum span.

### Can XPipe Pro generate drawings for fabrication?

Yes, every calculation in XPipe Pro comes with a scale drawing of the exact assembly, dimensioned as you would measure it. These drawings can be exported as DXF files for plasma tables or CAD seats, or as A4 sheets for printing and taping to plate.

### What pipe standards are included in XPipe Pro?

XPipe Pro features a searchable standards library with 98 standards across PN-EN, DIN, ISO, SMS, and ASME. This includes pipe tables, flange tables, and isometric symbols, all drawn and explained.

### Does XPipe Pro support both metric and imperial units?

Yes, XPipe Pro supports both millimeters and inches, and you can switch between them easily for your calculations and drawings.

### Is XPipe Pro suitable for complex 3D pipe runs?

Absolutely. The 3D run calculator solves for both elbow angles separately in X, Y, and Z dimensions, and the box you measure is drawn around the pipe for precise layout.

### How does XPipe Pro help with cutting elbows to odd angles?

The Elbow cut calculator in XPipe Pro helps you determine the take-out, heel and throat arcs, chords, heights, and arcs needed to mark back from an existing face when cutting an elbow to an odd angle.

### What is the price of XPipe Pro?

XPipe Pro is available for a one-time purchase of $19.99.

### What devices is XPipe Pro available on?

XPipe Pro is supported on both iPhone and iPad devices.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.8 — 2026-09-15

New: pipe isometrics, from their own tile on the home screen. Draw a line as you set it out — a direction, a length, the next direction — and the elbows and tees place themselves. Add valves, flanges, reducers and supports; get ISO 6412 symbols, elevations, a bill of materials, a cut list, and an A4 or A3 PDF sheet. Send an isometric as a link and it opens in the other fitter's app, or on a web page for someone without it. The camera permission prompt now appears in your phone's language.

### 1.7 — 2026-09-13

New: dished heads and fillet welds (a vs z, never confused again). Work now sorts into jobs, with a one-tap PDF job sheet when the work is done. Your whole measurement history exports as one file — keep it in your own cloud or email it to yourself, with no account and no server of ours. Plus a built-in spirit level for when the real one is in the van.

### 1.2.2 — 2026-08-31

No release notes.
