It only give me a black screen. Not happy with it as being a parent we love to see photos of our kids in kindy. There’s a lot of clicks before you get to anything. I can’t view images from the announcements since iOS26, when you click on the images, no light box appears. It’s been weeks, don’t have any e2e tests? App is super slow to load at times when you’re trying to check out your kid or sign them in. This app has kicked me out of it and I have changed my passwords and uninstalled it and everything and still can’t get on to the app which means I can’t see any updates from my kids, I can’t add extra bookings or see my account! My service has contacted Xplor themselves and it’s been hopeless! Being an educator at the service as well and seeing how many others are having issues with logging in to the app is really disappointing!! The steps to sign in/out then have a verify which is another few steps. Time consuming and clunky. The help team are no help as I have been wondering if it’s a user issue but I have my end set up and triple checked but they just send screen shots of what it should look like. I agree, have all my settings to their speculations and still not working and they just ignore the problem then. Online support never works. Links in the emails from Xplor asking you to update your profile never works. Can’t sign in to the new centre. Can’t receive any welcome email from the new centre. Tried multiple times. Have to call the app support. The lady on the phone was very polite but because of this buggy app, she couldn’t solve the problem straight away. I have to wait until when, I don’t know. The posts in the app are written in black but with dark grey background. Can’t read them properly. Photos cannot be enlarged properly (this issue could be resolved very recently). Lack of features as well. No photos of lunch, morning and afternoon tea. No videos. No online chat between centre and parents. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Never works *2026-07-21, version 2.13.2* I get kicked out of the app all the time. Still get the notifications coming through, but when I click on them to open it, I’ve been logged out. I keep having to go into my child’s daycare, have them reset me, delete the app all together and go again from the start. This happens almost weekly. The daycare staff have said to me that this happens to many parents and that they hate the app also. Ridiculous ### 1/5 — Notification delay? *2026-04-22, version 2.13.1* App is slow to send out notifications. Both mine and my partner are using different phones (iPhone and Samsung) it now takes up to 50mins after educators have entered an event for the app to push through the notification. I find myself having to constantly open the app, go back back back to the main screen, then slide to refresh, just to see the most updated event. ### 1/5 — Release 2.13.0 broke photos function *2026-03-18, version 2.13.0* Last week’s app update has broken the ability to view photos. Every time I try to view photos in a post gallery, I just get a black screen of death, the app and my phone freezes. I have to lock and unlock my phone, then close the app to get out of the black screen of death. Not a phone comparability issue as my iphone is less than a year old with the latest updates. ### 1/5 — Photos just show black screen. *2026-03-18, version 2.13.0* Was working pretty well. Always been pretty slow loading app. Recently something changed and I can no longer view the photos posted by my centre. Just shows black screen. I’ve been using my husbands access but even then there are so many glitches ### 1/5 — This app is abandoned *2026-02-10, version 2.12.0* If you’re looking to get a service from this company I would avoid. The app is clearly abandoned and not maintained. We’re multiple parents who have sent feedback to get the app owner to fix the light box photo viewer to work. We can’t see our kids photos individually and have to download all of them. It’s been going on for over 6 months. We’re now pushing the daycare to sign up with another provider. ### 1/5 — Unable to view Photos *2026-01-23, version 2.12.0* I’m using the latest model of iphone and could never open the photos on the app. I always have to download all photos and delete the ones I don’t need. This has been going for months. Can you please fix this? And see if my kids are sleeping, what they have had to eat, or how the toilet training is going. Love the daily picture updates as well! Very user friendly. If I had one complaint - sometimes the notifications don’t come through till a few hours after they have been posted. For example, we will have picked the kids up from daycare and doing our bath and bed routine and I’ll get a notification that my son has just been to the toilet. ### 5/5 — Love it! *2024-01-10, version 2.1.3* Easy to use, holds very useful information and I love seeing my little munchkin at kindy while I’m at work. One more bit of feedback: Can you please fix the issue when clicking on notifications from an alternate centre, it takes to a blank screen? If the app switched the centre automatically to the centre corresponding to the notification, this would avoid the blank screen. **Developer response:** mattnotley2004, we fixed the slow notification issue last month. It can record photos of children and daily life details, and my whole family loves it. My kids have been with Bambino since their newborn days until graduated. Over 10 years now with Bambino having to play a massive part to my 3 kids lives. The girls are lovely, respectful and trustworthy. They always make me feel at ease leaving my kids under their care whilst I leave for work.
