Once! Always lags, always takes 10 mins to load a page, if it ever even loads. So bad. I don’t understand why they haven’t fixed the bugs STILL when it’s been like this for months.. ### 1/5 — Crashes often *2023-11-03, version 1.3.4* Often I open the app and nothing happens. ### 1/5 — Predatory business model! *2023-10-05, version 1.3.4* Please read! I cannot express how predatory this business model is and to any gyms or studios who plan to use this company please avoid them. First let me break down the predatory model. When you sign up for xplor you will be using their in house payment processor called clearent. What they won’t tell you is that you will have separate contracts with both clearent and xplor even though they are functionally 1 company. They will hide this fact from you the entire sales process and make it hard to identify in the contracts. Additionally, the contract term lengths will be vastly different, in our case we had a 1 year contract with xplor but 3 year with clearent. Now once you get xplor studio you will find that it seems nice at first but breaks frequently and support is unhelpful. This caused our business to lose out on revenue and alienate customers because fitness programs were disappearing, false payments were being charged and many other issues. In the end we decided to move forward with a new product and cancelled the contract with xplor only to find out a few months later that we were still being charged by clearent because according to them we had to cancel with both clearent and xplor even though they’re the same company. Additionally when we told them we had already cancelled they threatened to set lawyers on us and then charged us additional fees which were roughly 10x the monthly charges we were falsely being charged. All in all they make their money by sucking you in with a good sales pitch and then auto drafting from your account after your account with them is cancelled. Please avoid the headache and choose someone else. ### 1/5 — Triib worked- this doesn’t *2023-09-27, version 1.3.4* Required to switch from Triib. Everything about this new app has been faulty. The old Triib app was very responsive and so much better, but my gym switched so I have no choice but to use this one. Signing up for classes is unbearably slow. I actually don’t know how they managed to make it take so long to load the schedule. It cannot be much data that needs to be loaded. ### 1/5 — Miss Triib *2023-07-24, version 1.3.2* We converted to this app in Nov ‘22 and it has honestly taken positive aspects from our community. When I check-in, sometimes it doesn’t go through or it lags terribly. I miss the simplicity of the old app where everything seemed more user friendly. No idea how this is an “upgrade.” Please at least bring back some of the functionality of the old app!! The new app looks fine but performs terribly. Need: - See class attendance numbers - Click once to book a class - Click once to check in ### 1/5 — Unbelievably bad *2023-05-23, version 1.3.2* Five clicks (really slowly, because nothing loads well) to book a single workout. That is, if everything works as designed, which it never does. Touch to select a date and it scrolls to the wrong date, or never moves at all. Always reverts back to the beginning of the current day, even though that would *never* be the option I’m looking for. Its also unconscionably slow to load a minimal set of data. If my gym didn’t require me to use it for in gym purchases I wouldn’t bother with it. My 6 year old could probably design something better. So glitchy it won’t even scroll from day to day to show a schedule. Slow, too many clicks to sign up for a class, poor design all around. Super glitchy. Could never see the whiteboard, although some members can. Deleted and reinstalled app and now can’t book a class because it says I have no membership. Online account is fine in that it allows me to do it. Still poor UI design. We had WODify before this and members loved it but owners had issues on backend. Can’t imagine that part is any better than what members are having to deal with. The cost of Xplor has doubled in less than four years, with no improvements or new features to justify the increase. Billing is unreliable, and customer support has been unhelpful when issues arise. It’s a super-heavy app that consumes significant data, and must reload after every tap. It’s 2025 and they still haven’t figured out how to create an efficient smooth interface. My entire workout history cannot be accessed. “Trouble connecting. Try again later” is the error message that repeats…Every. Single. Time. After years of attempting to get my historical data, I’ve been forced to find another tracking app. If you’re a gym owner trying to decide on Wodify or Triib…go with Wodify. ### 1/5 — Outdated and Lacks Basic Features for Athletes *2024-07-08, version 1.3.8* This app is extremely disappointing and outdated. It doesn’t provide the 1RM percentage calculations that are crucial for my workouts. While it’s said to be user-friendly for gym owners, it’s clear that athletes were not considered in its design. The app should easily calculate how much I should lift based on a percentage of my 1 rep max. This is basic functionality that many other apps offer. I expected more from this app, but it falls short in so many areas. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2024-04-27, version 1.3.8* This app is absolutely awful and doesn’t work a lot of the time. It’s very slow and difficult to navigate. My gym switched to this app and I know many users are not happy with it. ### 1/5 — Frequently glitches *2024-04-24, version 1.3.8* At least once a week, I have to remove and re-download this app so it can reload and work properly. Sometimes when I open it, the main part of the screen is blank and the bottom menu reads like I have the business admin version to see customers, etc. Nothing is clickable though. Really frustrating. ### 1/5 — Triib Steals Money *2024-03-27, version 1.3.8* Unfortunately we have had a $7000 payment taken by xplor triib studios “fraud team”. There is no real person to talk to and no way to get this resolved. So if they decide a charge seems “fraudulent” I guess they just keep your company’s money and that’s all. No way for you to dispute or find out what has happened. They will just answer with generic responses and I guess we lose $7000 and Triib just keeps it. NEVER USE XPLOR TRIIB THEY WILL STEAL YOUR COMPANY MONEY. ### 1/5 — Shockingly Awful *2024-02-12, version 1.3.8* Gym had us switch to this from the triib app. Horrible interface, buggy. The salesman over promised features that don’t exist and their timelines are outright lies. It takes constant follow up with support to get anything to happen. Keep up the good work! ### 5/5 — A very Professional Service *2023-04-06, version 1.3.0* Had a major discrepancy with my account that I wasn’t aware of, the issue was brought to MY attention by Diane (part of the Xplor team) my representative. She gave me a clear and decisive plan on when and what was going to happen, with daily updates! They handled the situation all on their own. Thank you Diane, just wanted to give credit where it’s due. The app is very easy to use by the way, don’t listen to all of these disgruntled people. Yes a few more clicks to reserve a class… who cares. App works nicely, with more useful tools and features to utilize for your gyms success. Will report back the more we use it. But this is way better.
