That would be really helpful ### 2/5 — Accuracy of gps *2025-03-16, version 1.8.7* The gps is not accurate for where my child is. The only reason we bought this was for the security of knowing her location. If an air tag can pin point exact locations you can too. 150m is a huge distance in a built up area ### 2/5 — Battery poor. App slow. Cannot find how to tell the app not to text me to say I’ve called my daughter which is frustrating when I can’t locate her and it keeps texting me to say I’ve called her. I like the idea of this watch but nothing ever wants to really go right. School mode won’t shut her watch down completely to just the time like advertised. It won’t allow us to call or text her but she can still play around on the watch. Don’t like that. Trying to text her from my app now but the messages keep coming through blank. Have been for about a week. So frustrating. I’m not really sure why I keep paying for this service plan. Have a great day! ### 1/5 — Steps counter *2025-01-22, version 1.8.5* The step counter doesn't match up on the actual app with what's on the watch. Also another profile has steps on it but there is only one watch connected. Please fix this especially since my son wants to accumulate steps and for them to be accurate. ### 2/5 — Not reliable *2025-01-22, version 1.8.5* We’ve had two of these watches because of issues with the first. They are both unreliable, especially with tracking. Unless the watch is connected to a home network or has line of sight outside, you won’t see where your kid is. Their tardy responses were in Norwegian and incredibly unhelpful. It’s taken months to shake them off. Avoid them at all costs. ### 1/5 — Couldn’t cancel *2025-01-09, version 1.8.4* Could not reach the functionality to cancel subscriptions to XGO3 sims. Tried all instructions I could find and constantly ran into site errors or credential failures even though the exact same credentials work perfectly via the Xplora app. Password rests links never sent. Have cancelled direct debits to stop subscriptions… be aware! Update: got an email saying contact customer service and they’ll help to fix the app. I dialled the numbers I could find and got nowhere. Send me the phone number / email to use and I will try and contact again. I just want my subscription cancelled. I am out of contract. I do t want help, please just cancel my subscription, I have already stopped the direct debit. ### 2/5 — Very glitchy! *2025-01-08, version 1.8.4* Regularly shows incorrect location which is a huge concern when you have no idea where your child actually is! The calls don’t always connect, just giving a ‘busy tone’ plus the battery doesn’t last long so overall quite unreliable. But when it does work, it’s actually great! Customer service is slow and friends of mine have ended up returning theirs due to the same issues. I feel a ‘brick’ phone and AirTag is the way forward and far more reliable. ### 1/5 — Not impressed *2025-01-07, version 1.8.4* I find the app not super smooth, user friendly, or intuitive. I actually didn’t do enough research before buying the xplora watch. There’s got to be something better for little kids. I want my kid to have a way to contact me but I wanted the watch not to be through an app. I will likely soon research better options and switch ### 1/5 — Error *2025-01-05, version 1.8.3* The system will not let me create a user name and password because it keeps pulling an error code in the box verifying I’m not a robot. It works great for guardians but other family members are unable to complete account set up due to the recapture verification. After attempting several times on different devices we were unsuccessful. They must be robots) Having an account & the app installed is the only way the watch can receive & send text messages (outside of the guardian). I’ve emailed, called, everything. They’ve been charging me for a watch we haven’t used in almost a year and I can’t get the charges to stop. Do yourself a favor and never sign up in the first place. Unless you want to be robbed and scammed forever. Original- The set up was so difficult. I talked to customer service three times just to get it connected. The location services are terrible. The QR code hasn’t loaded since the first day. The in-app customer service doesn’t load. The APN changed from my provider (AT&T) to TMobile (which I don’t have) and now the watch doesn’t charge AND it’s stuck in School Mode. I’m so disappointed in this watch. I thought it would be a better idea than getting an Apple Watch, but it’s been a complete waste of money. It actually makes me angry that I trusted this device to help me keep my child safely connected. It’s despicable how bad this watch is. The only caveat is that, when it DOES work, it supports an acceptable level of phone calls. And we’ve only had this watch for six months. Not to mention the watch never worked. ### 1/5 — Feels archaic *2025-05-19, version 1.8.7* There are no real features in this app. I constantly am getting updates (that I need to open the app to see) that say “watch battery low” or “watch is switched on” etc. there is no way to turn this off. The location feature is a joke- it hardly ever is accurate. The app crashes every time I try to open the messages tab for each and every one of my children. This means I can no longer contact or use the map to see where my child is. Prior to this, when the map did function it was not able to show the correct location of my child, which was a huge shock when my child was at school but the map on the app showed that my child was some distance away in a random residential building. I have spent multiple hundreds of GBP on these watches, now I wish I’d bought them smartphones and locked them down, at least the location data would be accurate and I’d actually be able to contact them. ### 1/5 — Glitchy is an understatement *2025-02-15, version 1.8.6* The watch is fairly stable however the system monitoring it is not good at all. After updating the app to version 1.8.6 all of my information seems to have disappeared as if I do not have an account. Also, there seems to be an uptick of calls from random numbers. ### 1/5 — Continually signed out *2025-01-28, version 1.8.5* I am constantly missing notifications because the app signs me out about every other day ### 1/5 — Absolutely pish *2025-01-27, version 1.8.5* We bought my son an explora watch a few years ago, he managed to smash the screen rendering most of the functions unusable, however we could still phone and track him - so we trooped on for a couple of years to get out moneys worth. My wife decided now our son is a little older we should upgrade to the Xplora x6Play. Trying to log into the account I’m notified my log in details are incorrect. So I try and recover them with the ‘forgotten password’ link where I’m notified the email address is unrecognised. So I try and create a new account, but I’m notified the email address is already in use, and to go back to the log in page. Rinse and repeat. Watch is going back tomorrow. I’ll just by an Apple Watch instead. Would like child to be able to take video. Nearly 90% of Xplora options not available in USA and app for parent makes me re-login regularly. App can be Difficult to use at times. Not much tech support. Watch is durable but should have trade in value for customers especially long term use customers. Was extremely helpful when there was an intruder at Childs school and emergency situation. GPS is accurate and helpful. Really like this app and system. Honestly the only improvement I’d like is the ability to edit the quick text responses of the watch. Would like: yes, no, on my way (All the best is not a phrase used in the US, so that could be led out for this market.).
