Supercharge the retractable Xpanse solar system with the Xponent Power mobile app. Get precise control, real-time energy analytics, and management of the innovative, durable, and powerful retractable Xpanse solar system specifically designed for travel trailers, cargo trailers, motorhomes and other recreational, military, and emergency vehicles.   
 
• Free yourself from the physical confines of the RV by remotely opening and closing the Xpanse solar system for ultimate convenience and security 
• Set the amount of opening to enable the system to perform like an awning to provide shade and protection against light rain, sleet, hail, or snow

We are pleased to announce the release of version 1.3.0 of the Xpanse Mobile App. This update introduces several new features, user experience enhancements, and critical bug fixes to improve app performance, usability, and system security.

New Features & Enhancements

Solar and Battery Data Update
The app now automatically retrieves solar and battery data shortly after launch. In cases where the data retrieval fails, the app will attempt retries. If the system remains unavailable, an appropriate error message is displayed to inform the user.

Preview Mode Messaging
Preview Mode has been enhanced with an informative message clarifying that the app is operating with simulated data. Additionally, the previous "No Device Connected" popup has been replaced with a static image of an Xpanse device on the Home Screen to provide a more seamless preview experience.

SBC Authentication / CIC Restriction
CIC-based authentication has been implemented to enhance system security. Only users with a valid Customer Identification Code (CIC) linked to their login credentials will be granted access.

Role-Based Access Control
Role-based access has been introduced to streamline the user experience. In addition to existing user roles, a new Installer role has been introduced. Users with this role are permitted to perform the commissioning process before logging into the app. Once logged in, Installers can directly access the dashboard without needing to link a CIC.

Remember Me Functionality
A "Remember Me" option has been added to securely retain user login credentials, minimizing the need for repeated authentication and improving overall user convenience.

In-App Release Notes
Enhanced release notes section to provide users with up-to-date feature updates and improvements, promoting transparency and user awareness.

Bug Fixes

> This release addresses several key issues to enhance stability, improve visual consistency, and optimize device control behavior across the app:
> Improved UI consistency and visual clarity across screens, including battery display, sign-in tabs, and offline mode labels.
> Enhanced stability during app launch and rapid interactions, resolving issues like white screens and sign-in errors.
> Refined awning behavior to prevent unintended movement, countdown conflicts, and visual flickering.
> Eliminated repeated beeping during retries by optimizing the HCA retry logic.
