## What is XProcrastinate?

XProcrastinate is designed to help students manage their assignments and study for subjects without having to procrastinate. Procrastination is a major issue that many students face and it prohibits them from giving their 100% to their school work which this app attempts to counter. It allows users to add, view, and delete assignments with specific details such as subject, assignment name, and date. The app works by inputting these details and adding them to the menu, and once the time you entered is reached, you would receive a notification reminding you to complete the assignment or start studying which would repeat every 3 minutes until you delete it. Because of the constant notification which is persistent and repeating, it causes irritation to the user which can help them feel motivated to complete their tasks quicker. The app includes a focus mode feature in which users can start a countdown of 30 minutes and a 10-minute break period follows in which they have to focus and by exiting that page, it starts the clock from the beginning which encourages users to quit the habit of procrastination. Due to the clock stopping when users exit the screen, this helps those who procrastinate quit the habit as it gives me a reason to keep working despite not wanting to and not having to restart the timer.
Customizable notifications with motivational quotes make it all very personal for a user to remain motivated and focused due to inspiration being sparked. This allows continued motivation and a sense of accomplishment without cluttering the active task list. In addition, the app prominently indicates Overdue Assignments with a visible indicator and provides persistent, encouraging notifications every few minutes until the task is marked done, so no critical deadlines are missed. These considerate additions allow students to more easily stay organized, avoid overwhelm, and proactively manage their workload. The new Analytics section gives you a clear, visual breakdown of your productivity trends over time. Track completed focus sessions, total hours worked, and progress toward your goals with easy-to-read charts and graphs. See patterns in your work habits, identify your most productive days, and use data-driven insights to stay consistent and improve your focus.
With a clean interface that integrates features perfectly, XProcrastinate is an all-round solution for better studying and smart task management.

### 5/5 — What an app!

*2025-06-14*

Not many apps on the App Store do I consider to be a crucial part of my life. This app is an exception. Truly a wonderful experience to use, not only in terms of the simple minimalist UI, but also the idea and the focus of the app. When I say this app has helped me throughout my life this past 3 months, it really has. From the timer to the calendar, this app provides a simple format that no other calendar app has. While other apps have all kinds of complicated things to do to set a simple alarm, this app cuts all the excess work, making it simple to use and an app that gets its job done of what it is at the core: an app to eliminate procrastination. I came across this app when looking for apps to stop me from wasting time after I got a 0 on a Physics Quiz after procrastinating, I downloaded this app right away. Within 2 weeks of using it, I noticed a clear difference in my work ethic, and 3 months in, I completely transformed my life. I would wholeheartedly recommend this app to anyone. 10/10.
