It works as intended, however after use for several minutes it’ll suddenly stop working. This seems to happen 90% of the time I use the app. It needs to be fixed.

I am currently using this app without subscribing to the full feature. The latest update includes the ability to save conversations automatically. This is an annoying feature and a security risk. I work within the military-industrial complex that considers saving these conversations as a security risk. Please release an update that allows us to turn off the automatic conversations saving feature. Thanks.

**Developer response:** We're so sorry! By default, Microsoft has the profanity filter turned on. We'll get that switched off in the next release. For the time being, you can use Amazon or Deepgram and have everything transcribed (choose them under spoken language).

This is complete genius and will change my life.  My hearing is poor and in noisy places, despite wearing hearing aids, I just can’t engage in a conversation. Well, now I can! The chat I can’t hear and get fed up asking people to repeat I can see in sub-titles, and so accurately & quickly! Love it and now looking forward to going to a restaurant with an atmosphere!

I was so excited to try this, as a profoundly deaf person, and, whilst it is generally a great support, it’s not wholly accurate. In addition to this, a 40 minute transcribed conversation used a whopping 56% of my phones battery, which was very disheartening, and definitely limits what can be done. If XRAI can look at a way to deliver such a fantastic tool whilst not impacting battery life so dramatically, it would be a winner. But for now, it’s a no, and I’m off to charge my phone back up now…..

I have her using this app for a long time now and one day it stopped working.  I try to log in and it just spins.  So I emailed support and got a response that they emailed us back in November (it is now March) that there would be subscriptions coming.  I vaguely remember that but my issue is that they decided in March before the free iPhone version is available to release this and not even give their users a heads up.  I was informed I could pay for a subscription or wait for the free version to come out.  I’m actually kind of shocked they would do this to their users who may depend on this app.

**Developer response:** We understand your frustration and really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. After over two years of offering the app for free, we had to introduce subscriptions to keep up with the cost of delivering accurate live transcription. We did send advance notice in November, but we’re sorry if it wasn’t clear or felt sudden. We’ll aim to do better in communicating changes going forward.

This app looks so cool I have to say. My xreal glasses are coming soon and I want an app to go with it and I did a ton of research and it suggested this app. I got into the app and wanted to sign in with my Apple account so it took a few minutes loading then I quit and deleted and redownloaded it even then it wouldn’t load. I’m convinced Jesus will come back before this app will load.

Using the app, requires you to sign in with a social media account. For privacy that is a dealbreaker. I’m sure someone else will come along with similar technology that isn’t interested in marketing your personal information.

i tried to open it and it’s showing a blue screen the whole time. it wont do anything past that. i would love to use this! im still waiting to get the glasses when it comes out and it suggested i try this app. im on an iphone. any ideas what to do? ive been hard of hearing for 35 years.

The app is simple to use and the captioning is excellent—quick and accurate!!  As someone with a severe hearing loss, I’ve used it in restaurant settings and other noisy venues and it’s been a real game changer for me with wonderful results.  I’ve also contacted customer service with a few questions about future applications and the response quick friendly and helpful.

I’ve tried several apps to help me understand medical speakers wearing masks or simply not speaking wit enough clarity….accents, muffling mustaches, etc. 
This app picks up the best complete conversation over all I’ve tried.

I’ve used a few different ones, but nothing compares to the speed of XRAI. I use it for taking notes at work, and the transcription is basically instant. Love the app!!

I have never felt so included and feel part of the wedding when someone told me to download this app before a wedding and I was able to follow word for word from all of the wedding toasts/speeches. The key thing is I was able to laugh at the jokes that I used to always miss in past weddings. I will be using XRAI Glass on the go. Thank you again for creating this app.

I don’t have any of the AR glasses on hand yet, but I’m loving the app! Heard about it through an event that had the Stream availability and it really helped me be part of the speaker engagement! They even have translations so can’t wait to try it out when I go to Europe! Thank you XRAI for all you are doing.

This is a great app can be very good for people with hard of hearing or profoundly deaf. It does really pick up the conversation really well and made easily for a deaf person to read and be able to follow up in a conversation and not be left out! Wish I had known about this earlier! Well worth the download and can be used on your fone without the need of the glasses…..

I was SUPER excited about this, but I can’t get the app to open on my ipad or on the iPhones of several friends. Deleted and reinstalled multiple times and it just freezes on the load screen. I really want this to work because I’m super hard of hearing and this plus the glasses would be a life changer for me. Any ideas?
