## What is Xrecord?

Record. Sealed. Evidence.

Xrecord 'seals' the conversation you recorded. The moment you stop, it locks the original with a SHA-256 hash and attaches a certified timestamp (RFC 3161) - so anyone can re-hash the file and verify that not a single byte was edited after recording.

- Sealed the moment you record: lossless original + SHA-256 hash chain + certified timestamp + device attestation. Any edit after sealing is detected instantly.
- Anyone can verify: the recipient re-hashes the same file and compares it to the seal. A match means an unedited original. Export a submission package in one tap.
- Long recordings, kept safe: record for hours; it auto-splits and seals at set intervals. If your phone dies mid-recording, saved parts stay safe and the last segment is recovered. Plays back seamlessly as one.
- Make sense of it: transcription, speaker separation, and search by question - jump straight to the line. Time and place recorded as metadata.
- All on this phone: your audio never leaves the device (on-device, OpenAI Whisper). iCloud backup goes only to your own account (optional).

The integrity seal proves 'no edits after recording.' Only record conversations you take part in.
