## What is Xspeak?

Reading a script while speaking naturally is hard. You lose your place, rush through words, or end up staring down instead of connecting with the room. Xspeak fixes that: a teleprompter that listens to you and scrolls at your pace.

• Voice-tracked scrolling with on-device speech recognition
• Manual scroll speed and text size controls
• A focus spotlight that dims the words you've already said
• Per-speech settings for text size, speed and display mode
• Mirror and sunlight display modes
• A 3-2-1 countdown before you start
• Elapsed time and estimated time remaining
• Import scripts from text files
• Keyboard shortcuts, and tap to pause

Runs on your device. No accounts, API keys or internet required.

PART OF CAIO'S CREATIVE STUDIO

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 2.1 — 2026-10-11

SpK is now Xspeak, part of Caio's Creative Studio with Xshirt and Xprompt. Same app, same speeches, new name.

### 2.0 — 2026-10-03

SpK 2.0 is a teleprompter that keeps up with you.

• The highlight now marks the next word to say, so after a pause you pick up exactly where you left off
• The line you're reading stays at one steady height, close to the camera
• Your paragraphs and line breaks now show on the prompter, with room to breathe
• Highlighted words no longer shift the text around them
• Voice tracking recovers instantly after pauses and silences
• Scripts are heard in their own language, so an English speech works on a device set to Portuguese, and the other way around
• A redesigned sidebar for your speeches
• Full support for Dark Mode, Increase Contrast and larger text sizes
• Smoother and more reliable overall

### 1.0 — 2026-03-05
