### 5/5 — Loving it, finally a polished player/controller

*2026-05-29, version 3.5.2*

After a long search for a Roon (and ARC) alternative, I’ve tried many options and xTune + Lyrion might finally be it.

There are alternatives out there, but they all feel half-baked: missing features, rough edges, poor user experience. xTune stands out as the best of the bunch by a wide margin, even if a few things aren’t quite polished yet. At this point, I’m unlikely to renew my Roon subscription.

The main limitations come from Lyrion itself. Some Roon-equivalent features rely on extensions rather than being built-in, but once you adapt to that workflow, it becomes perfectly acceptable.

Excited to see where this app goes.

Pair it with a VPN to access your home library and you’ve got a solid on-the-go solution.

### 5/5 — Excellent!

*2026-04-27, version 3.4.1*

Very well thought out and executed.

### 5/5 — Daphile

*2026-04-13*

Super application pour Daphile

### 5/5 — A great way to get the best out of my music library

*2026-03-10, version 3.1.0*

Love this app - much easier to use and control my player. The app sourced and displayed interesting information about the works playing and the composer which adds to the pleasure of listening.

### 5/5 — Funktioniert auch auf dem Mac

*2026-03-09*

### 5/5 — Excellent, immersive app

*2026-02-24, version 3.0.1*

This is a wonderful app to browse an LMS instance with. Crafted for iPhone and iPad and feature rich. The developer is very attentive and answers queries quickly. Strongly recommended!

### 5/5 — The absolute best!

*2026-01-31*

This excellent app combined with piCoreplayer and a Lyrion server have completely replaced Roon in my main music setup. This app looks better than the Roon remotes and is the only other app I have come across that actually combines local files with streaming services. Thank you for this great product!

### 5/5 — Beautiful UI and advanced feature set

*2026-01-19*

A well-architected app with an intuitive and nice UI. It's lightweight enough for an iPhone 7, offers great performance, and provides a stable, bug-free great user experience.

### 4/5 — 不能按键控制音量

*2025-12-25*

麻烦添加下按键调整音量，不太满意。也不方便。

**Developer response:** 已经在3.0.1版本中提供了这个功能

### 3/5 — 有bug了

*2025-12-13*

升级版本之后 每次只要之前的daphile关了，就没办法进入切换界面转到其他的daphile盒子了

**Developer response:** 感谢反馈！目前版本已经修复了这个问题。
