Sign ups can be done only using an email id. And to the developers, whatever your reasons are, you are missing on a chunk of users; they’ll just uninstall the app after downloading because, like me, they’d not want to give their phone numbers unnecessarily to an app. Reasons: 1. The information that the app will provide is anyway just one google search away. 2. Using today’s AI tools, it is fairly easy to scan the ingredients list using camera and get a response. 3.
