## What is XYesla?

xyesla is a lightweight navigation service for drivers — built for Tesla browsers and phones. Maps, routes, traffic, and real-time hazards (police, cameras, accidents, potholes, roadwork) in one clean interface.
Privacy-first: no accounts, no analytics, no trackers, no ads. Nothing is sold or shared with third parties.
Data sources: OpenStreetMap, TomTom (search, traffic), Open-Meteo (weather), OpenChargeMap (EV chargers), Tesla Fleet API (optional — battery, speed, temperature).
Your location is processed locally in the browser. Nothing leaves your device unless you explicitly submit a hazard report.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.5 — 2026-05-17

Bluetooth feature access:
1. Open the app — navigation map loads.
2. Press and hold anywhere on the map for 6 seconds (countdown 5→4→3→2→1 appears).
3. Tesla menu opens with a Connect toggle.
4. Toggling Connect ON starts a BLE scan (no Tesla vehicle required to verify scanning).

The 6-second gesture prevents accidental opening while interacting with the map (automotive safety pattern). Documented in the App Store description.

### 1.4 — 2026-05-12

Direct Tesla Bluetooth integration — battery % and range on your iPhone Lock Screen, no Tesla account required. Maps, live traffic, voice search in 27 languages, community hazard reports.

### 1.2 — 2026-04-22

No release notes.
