We couldn't get a ride to the restaurant so ended up walking. On return we got matched to a driver in the neighbouring town and it was 17mins away. 10 mins from arrival it suddenly got cancelled and they they claim it was my end. ### 2/5 — Charges are all over *2024-10-17, version 23.0.0* I used to love using y-drive but don’t understand how I got charged 3 times, then reversed then charged, not to mention always charged more than that quote ride. Did not use it at all and they charged me. ### 5/5 — Best Vehicle Service *2024-02-24, version 4.6.6911* I’ve been using Ydrive for a really long time, from the moment I came to Canada. The drivers are great conversationalists. They know how to drive safe and always follow the law. I have told several of my friends to use Ydrive as well. They are always early to pre-bookings and drop me off on time. I would recommend their service to everyone who needs a vehicle to get around their town. I had no way home but to walk an hr from one end of town in the freezing cold to the other with feet/ knee issues and being a woman. Thanks Y Ride Y stands for YOU SUCK!!! ### 1/5 — Bad ETA *2026-03-06, version 24.3.0* Drivers are great but if the ETA says 5-8 mins prepare for a 20-30 min wait. Every single time. ### 1/5 — Disgusting customer service *2026-01-02, version 24.1.0* I rely on this ride service to get to and from work and have spent hundreds of dollars in rides. I often work in the morning when ETAs are high. They have an option to book your ride in advance, but if you do that your fair goes up by multiple dollars. This morning I was waiting to be paired with a driver, and received an automated message that it would take longer than normal to find a driver and that they MAYBE will match me within 20-30 minutes. I proceeded to wait to be paired with a driver, and after 15 minutes they sent me another message saying my ride was cancelled and that I need to rebook again (which in theory would start me at the end of the queue). The nail in the coffin was that I was then told by their customer service that I “never responded if I wanted to wait 20-30 minutes” and that’s why they cancelled me. The message is worded and sent as if it’s auto-generated, and said NOTHING about having to reply to stay in the queue. Ultimately I had to call a cab as I couldn’t afford to wait any longer, because like I said, I rely on this service to get to work. And by then, I would have been late. Terrible service, don’t recommend to anyone unless you have nothing better to do but wait around, or if you’re willing to spend what you earn in an hour to book in advance. ### 1/5 — App is unreliable *2025-09-08, version 23.0.5* First couple of weeks I had it installed, it worked fine. After that it would open to a mostly blank screen. The map was there, but the bottom half of the screen where you enter the details was blank. Customer service was uninterested in helping. ### 1/5 — Wait for 10-15 minutes and no one accepts your ride. *2025-07-20, version 23.0.2* Tried to book a ride going and coming home from dinner as we were drinking. Waiting 10 minutes for a confirmation on the ride and ended up cancelling both times and called a cab. Waste of time don’t bother ### 1/5 — Awful experience *2025-06-09, version 23.0.1* The drivers are always late, even when you try to prebook in advance, and if you cancel the ride after waiting for so long which makes no sense anymore they charge you a cancellation fee.
