The Peaks Biggest Party! For one weekend a year, the stunning Peak District countryside becomes home to Y Not Festival. Since 2006, when it began life as an overspilling house party in the deepest, darkest Derbyshire; there has been steady, organic growth. 20 years on, we still have the same ethos at heart. Great people, having a great time, makes a great festival. With panoramic countryside views, amazing music, comedy and cabaret, family-friendly activities galore, and more quality food and drink than you can shake a stick at... all you need to bring is yourself, some wellies and a killer fancy dress outfit. SIGN-IN To access some of the above features you will need Internet connectivity and be asked to register for an account and give permission for storing your ID on our servers. ACCOUNT AND DATA DELETION To request deletion of your account and all associated data, go to the menu, tap INFORMATION, then EDIT MY ACCOUNT and tap the “Delete My Account” button. You will then receive an email at the address of your logged in account asking you to confirm your data deletion request. LOCATION SERVICES To enable Find-a-Friend to work, you will need to allow the app to access your Contacts as well as location when running in the background.\ BATTERY Continued use of location services running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. This App has been designed to minimise the impact on your battery life and in most cases will be unnoticeable, but results may vary based on network conditions and usage. Emailed and messaged Y NOT and ignored despite several attempts. Loved it last year but service this year is terrible. Won’t be going again ### 1/5 — Not working!!! *2026-06-29* Refusing to load! Sends me the email every time I enter my email but then just gives me a message saying unable to load the page try later. This has been the issue for the past few days. No option to click for help so I’m stuck!!! ### 5/5 — Y Not 25 *2025-08-07* An excellent event, the headline acts all delivering with The Prodigy showing why they are a globally recognised band. The festival organisers have definitely upped their game with top notch toilets and showers plus really helpful staff. See you next year ### 2/5 — Poor without a data connection *2025-08-04* Works okay normally, but many functions require an internet connection and there wasn’t any mobile data on site during the festival, making the app near useless. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work on iPhones *2025-07-05* Downloaded it fine and launched the app. Filled in my email and first name and said yes to T&Cs, but it wouldn’t scroll to confirm so I could only close that screen and try submit which sent me back to the same sign up that didn’t work. Please fix this for iPhones. Mines a 13. ### 5/5 — Adds to the experience *2022-07-31* This app was great it really added to the festival experience. The bios for each band allowed me to explore new bands who I may have ignored. In the past you would have to buy a program to get this info and I would often not get time to read program fully. This app allows quick and easy exploring of bands. Only negative is the app asks to track you and I don’t understand why this is.
