## What is YachtInspect?

With YachtInspect you can digitalise many of your procedures, including reporting and asset assessments as well as creating reports - saving valuable time spent better on other tasks. The app has two main scopes:

-	Findings management, including the creation of these allowing the user to annotate the relevant pictures, track with comments 
-	Shipyard and SLOF report, generated in a PDF form after the relevant form has been filled out

The app has a built-in support functionality where users are welcome to suggest their ideas, observations and perceived problems with the application to the developer team.

### 1.6.0 — 2026-07-10

Corporate report templates are here. Design a report layout once, lock the structure or individual elements, and your team can fill in content without breaking the design. Templates now carry version numbers, and the template picker shows who last updated each one and when.

Products can track vessel registry and survey details: class notation, IMO number, call sign, flag, survey participants, location and date, plus damage type, cause and assessment - all fillable automatically from a photographed survey form with AI.

Also in this update: long tables of contents now continue across PDF pages instead of disappearing, page numbers in the PDF footer are always correct, the reports list shows which editor created each report, and failed team invitations explain exactly why. Numerous stability and security improvements round out the release.

### 1.5.28 — 2026-06-24

This update restores the option to take a new photo with your camera when adding images to a finding or report. Tapping Upload Image now lets you choose between Camera and Gallery again, and you can still select multiple photos at once from your library.

Also includes minor stability improvements.

### 1.5.27 — 2026-06-21

This update fixes taking photos with the camera and selecting photos from your library on iOS 26 (such as iPhone 16 Pro). Capturing a new photo and choosing existing photos for findings and uploads now work reliably again.

This update restores photo selection from your library on iOS 26. You can again pick existing photos to attach to findings and uploads.

Offline photo uploads
• Take photos without a connection — they’re saved on your device and now upload automatically as soon as you’re back online.
• Fixed an issue where a photo could occasionally be lost when uploading after reconnecting.
• A banner shows how many photos are still waiting to upload — tap it to retry.

• Large photo galleries now load smoothly — grouped by month with sticky date headers instead of stalling on big projects.
