It would be even cooler if it actually showed/used the correct scores. I’ll keep 15 for my 5’s then when my opponent plays back it’ll switch to 10 for 5’s, or I’ll get a full house and it’ll switch to a 0 after the opponent plays back. The ads block your view of your dice at times and causes you to choose in error or leave a needed due behind. No thanks. ### 1/5 — Disappointed App User! *2025-06-07* Since this game has been updated recently, it has become a user unfriendly app. Before the upgrade users had a 50-50 chance of winning. The updated game algorithm has the app winning most games and almost always scoring points on every roll. As example, I just finished a game where the app scored a yachty on each of its first three rolls. My rolls were mostly non point getters and I got beaten by over 300 points. There does not seem to be any fun playing the game now, with the apparently gross update to the app! ### 1/5 — Game Center Multiplayer is changing the score *2023-08-03* UPDATE: The online multiplayer mode is not accurate at all… During the game, the score can change randomly. The opponent can score 25 for the Full on his screen, but on my screen I see 0. If I score 15 in the Fives, the next turn it can change to 0. At the end of the game, both players are always losing on their screen. If you were supposed to win, it displays your opponent’s score… Very well done and fun! The only thing to improve would be to consider the iphone notch and the rounded corners of the screen. The score get a little bit hidden in the lower corners. ### 1/5 — Used to be the best Yahtzee game *2022-09-01, version 3.1* Way too many ads! I paused the fame to customize the board and became stuck in a loop of ads before it would allow me to resume my game. I once paid for this game years ago but it would not link to new phone. What a waste! ### 1/5 — Yachty Game *2022-08-16* I really love YAHTZEE and played the real game my entire life. Some of the fun is sometimes having a good game and sometimes having a bad game…..depending on how your RANDOM turns of throwing of the dice turn out. Not only does this game pretty much roll the same dice in separate games and in the same order, but if you keep one dice in your first of 3 turns, you can count on rolling the same four dice that you just picked up for your next 2 turns. I have tried to delete the game and reloading it…doesn’t help. I really love the graphics of this app, but can you please update it with the technology that some of the other Yahtzee or Yachty or Yatzy games have? ### 1/5 — NOT real, not random *2022-04-01* Truly random rolls of the dice? No way. It’s all programmed. One example: started a game (cpu leads). First turn up cpu rolls all five the same. Not happy with this, I restart the game. Again, cpu gives itself five of the same dice. I’m mad, so I restart yet again. Can you guess? Yup: a third in a row of all five dice the same. Now I’m apoplectic. Yachty will become a real game when it designs true mathematical randomness into all rolls. Set us up as friends in Game Centre. Started multiplayer game, add wife, started to play. At first seemed ok then part way through game it goes crazy putting scores into wrong boxes and even missing out some. Don’t know about single person game, but as we wanted multiplayer it is not usable. This fit the bill perfectly. But, it’s just a little “glitchy” at times (reversed our total scores at the end of each game for one thing). Nothing major. It’s still the simple Yahtzee-like game, without all of the ridiculously complicated gimmicks, ads and attempts to sell me “free” rolls, etc. like Yahtzee with Buddies does. The number of ads and sales pushy-ness of that app frustrates and annoys me… A LOT! If you just want to play a simple game “Yachty,” this is the one to get.
