## What is Yak Bak! Say it, Play it?

You had one. Or your brother did, and he wouldn't give it back. It's the Yak Bak!

Hold the button. Say something stupid. Let go.  It was enough in 1995 and it's enough now.

22 OF THEM. ALL FREE. ALL YOURS THE SECOND YOU OPEN IT.

Yak Baks rebuilt down to the last scuff. We rebuilt the guts, the hiss, the pumping, the awful little speaker, and got it wrong in all the right places. Say something loud and it still ducks. Slow it down and you still go full monster. The OG, the Yak Bak 2, Backwards, Warp'r, Maniak, and the rest.

And, we tried to modernize with Yak Labs!

• TUNA — sing badly. It drags you onto the nearest note anyway.
• RING — EXTERMINATE. The ring is its motor speed.
• MASK — the helmet and the respirator, and the breathing never stops.
• CORE — the test-chamber computer. In tune, and in no hurry.
• DISCO — robots on a dancefloor, singing in harmony.
• QUACK — the exasperated cartoon duck.
• KID — Saturday-morning cartoon kid. Your timing, a much smaller voice.
• GEEZ — eight years old, or eighty. The lever picks.
• HELIUM — the party balloon.
• ...and TUBE, CHOIR and MONO.
