### 5/5 — Emphasis on Exercise And Battling. Early Development

*2023-06-23*

At the time of writing, the game still seems to be in pretty early development. Having said that, there will be a lot of changes and you can probably help contribute a lot by giving the developers feedback as they are very actively working on the game. A big emphasis on the game seems to be exercise as well as creature collecting/battling. It seems like the intention is to use exercise (right now using parameters of steps or heart rate especially) as a means of finding creatures to battle and then loot or capture. Exercise is emphasized such that it seems like mechanisms are being put in place to prevent just using a car/bus to rack up gains (hence steps) which occurs in other gps-based games. Steps/heart rate automatically find you creatures which are put into a queue for you to battle later. You can also customize your character (and even pets somewhat) through items found through battling.

Keep your expectations down right now though since a lot of things are still being worked on (bugs, balance, features, user interface, etc), but all the more reason to give it a shot and try to help them improve the game. Thus far I don’t see many games that are attempting to emphasize both exercise and gameplay so it’s exciting to see such a game in progress.
