The employees are always so friendly, helpful and available, Yakima Federal makes banking simple, easy and no stress! Shout out to the Yakima Ave branch for being so responsive when opening my account and any questions I had:) ### 5/5 — Can’t pull out money or transfer on weekend get a weird message *2026-06-05, version 26.1.300* I been having such a horrible time accessing my funds ### 1/5 — Faulty App, Indifferent Attitude *2026-03-19, version 25.2.370* Update: app and online banking still regularly nonfunctional. Down yet again tonight. The incompetence and lack of accountability are unreal. Never in my entire life have I seen any app or service of any kind that goes down or glitches out completely the way theirs does. The frequency with which their online banking simply *doesn’t work at all* is increasing, and undermines confidence in their ability to handle just about anything else. There are never answers, a timeline to have it fixed, or really any sense of accountability at all. Once again, it’s been down all day. I leave for a trip Monday, which is also a bank holiday. I can see a total balance, and nothing else. What’s cleared (and accounted for in that total)? According to them nothing, as it says I have no recent transactions. Can I perform any other function? No. Is anyone going to fix this? As usual, they are not. BUT they will almost certainly lock my debit card at the drop of a hat and make me wait until the next business day to get their permission access MY OWN MONEY. ### 5/5 — My opinion *2026-02-08, version 25.1.350* I’ve had a handful of different banks and this has been the easiest to keep. Customer service is great. Fees minimal. ### 1/5 — I Miss The Old App!!! *2025-12-04, version 25.1.350* This is app makes me want to close my account. FORCING you to enter your social security number to bring up your debit card and saying it’s to see your credit cards (which I don’t have) and then storing that number just in case you get a credit card with them in the future. Like they say why fix something when it ain’t broken. At all times of the day I can’t sign in, when I really need to get into my app to unfreeze my card or check for withdraws etc. When I finally get in and I hit card so I can freeze or unfreeze it never loads so I’m stuck for a day unable to do either. I have given it 8 months in hopes they would fix this online banking and app but they have lacked even when I have to drive 15 mins just to go into the bank because the app does not work. Very inconvenient! So they have lost a long time member (of 25 years) because of the lack of any kind of support even with tellers (depending the location you go to) I have withdrawn most of my funds waiting for my CD to mature to take it out also! ### 1/5 — I’ve give the new update some time… *2025-01-30, version 24.1.320* It’s slow, buggy, and annoying. It should not take minutes to load pages in an app… and half the time face ID fails. So I got a new phone and downloaded the app. For some reason I don’t get notifications (even though I’ve allowed them), have made it the primary phone and still don’t get them!! Also, have saved my login info and Face ID for quicker logins but I keep getting a pop up saying you guys can’t validate information. I have to enter my login credentials every time and at times I get a pop up again that says switch user…. I’m seriously debating closing my account that I’ve had with your bank for 10 plus years.
