## What is Yakko Tako?

Long ago, a loyal servant named Yakko was punished — transformed into a paper kite and cast
into the world of Tako, a realm ruled by a mischievous octopus and an endless, ever-shifting
sky. There is only one way home: climb. Higher than the birds. Higher than the winds. Higher
than anyone has ever dared.

Yakko Tako is a roguelike kite-flying climber inspired by the woodblock skies of Japanese
ukiyo-e and the centuries-old tradition of the yakko-dako — the arms-spread "servant" kites
flown across Japan for good fortune. Every ascent is different. Every run tells its own story.

EASY TO PLAY, DIFFICULT TO MASTER
One thumb is all it takes to fly. Move your phone to steer. But reading the wind, feeling the tension of the string, and
timing every dodge to the frame is the work of a lifetime. This is a game for real challengers —
