### 4/5 — CarPlay with HomeKit

*2026-08-13, version 26.15.0*

Love the lock, best I’ve used with HomeKit and works well. What I do not like is when linked to CarPlay and arriving home, SOMETIMES, the response is I need to unlock my phone for the action to perform. It’s 50/50. Obviously I do not need to unlock the phone for Siri to operate the device half the time so please fix the app to allow it always. Or create a toggle for always require unlock yes or no.

### 4/5 — Great for Basic Use

*2026-08-11*

Now that I’ve had it installed and have been using it for a few years, I can give honest feedback. First, battery life is great. We’ve only had to change the batteries once in all this time. The app does lag a little bit, but it’s never failed us. The Doors always lock and unlock reliably. I can always count on this app to work and have stopped even bringing my physical keys with me.
I think it’s a great app for people who have one lock and the same users. We have two locks on two doors in our entryway. Both doors need to be unlocked to access our house. We would love the auto unlock feature to unlock both of these door doors, but unfortunately, the system limits it to one lock. The auto unlock feature does work almost flawlessly for the one lock we do have set up with it.
Second, we have pet sitters and house sitters that we use when we are away, so it’s nice to activate/deactivate their keypad access. The way the system is set up, I have to have a separate access account for them for each of our two locks. Access to each of these also has to be configured separately. There does not seem to be a way to grant new users keypad access to both locks at the same time, even though the set up page leads you to believe that you are setting the user up with both.
There’s no way to customize the users appearance in the user list - it’s always the users first name and last name. I have to click in to each of their records to determine which lock I’m deactivating. If this does have to be the set up, it would be nice to be able to configure the appearance of the user to include the lock associated with that record.
Honestly, it’s been great to us, if Yale could address these two issues, it would be the perfect lock system.

### 3/5 — Spotty connection

*2026-08-09, version 26.14.0*

Sometimes is connects and sometime it doesn’t. Of course… when trying to connect, you really need it to. When it does… amazing. When it doesn’t, worthless.

### 2/5 — Won't stop asking notification permissions

*2026-08-08*

Even though I declined access a hundred times the app keeps asking me for permissions every time I open it

The lock opening/closing history is often stale by several hours

Fully charged batteries show up as 56% and only last a month or so

Replacing the batteries requires recalibrating the lock every time

No way to toggle between Bluetooth and Wifi connection. If lock refuses to connect via Bluetooth there's no way to calibrate it so it thinks door is open when it's closed

### 3/5 — Langue

*2026-08-07*

Très déçu de voir que toute la configuration et l’utilisation subséquente de l’application ne se fait pas en une autre langue que l’anglais. L’option de choisir sa langue maternelle pour l’utilisation/configuration serait souhaitable.

### 2/5 — Lock is great. App blows

*2026-08-01, version 26.14.0*

App is impossible to pair to this app.

### 3/5 — Nebahat

*2026-07-27, version 26.12.0*

Erdem

### 2/5 — Keeps crashing

*2026-07-22, version 26.12.0*

I can’t turn off auto lock. It crashes every time. At least the lock still works.

### 1/5 — Weak

*2026-07-21, version 26.12.0*

This app used to be simple and worked easily. Now it’s complicated, many click these and missing buttons to complete tasks.
Unfortunately I have 2 of these and the geofence for both are spotty. I can’t add or update pass codes and pending deletion if user.
I may start to hunt for another option. Yale, hardware. Seems solid but software/firmwate. Bad news!!!

### 1/5 — Am I missing something?

*2026-07-12, version 26.12.0*

I’ve had the Yale lock professionally installed and redownloaded the app.

The lock itself does its job fine. Apparently the $200 lock I bought also needs another device so that it can be wifi enabled?

On the app, I say “redownloaded” because I stayed at an Airbnb years ago that recommended use of the app. I can’t delete it from my keychain and every online help guide keeps saying to go to a section I simply don’t have on my app.

The whole thing is extremely disappointing. I switched from kwikset because I thought this was too of the line. I sincerely hope I’m missing something because if this is what a ~$200 lock gets you and the app is essentially useless since there’s no wifi option without another purchase, hard pass.

### 1/5 — Account Creation - Service Unavailable

*2026-08-21, version 26.15.0*

I bought the Assure Smart Lock 2 and I can not configure because app is not allowing to create account

### 1/5 — Crashes constantly

*2026-08-16, version 26.15.0*

Anytime you add/edit/remove a user or code the app crashes. Basically useless. Stuck with this stupid $300 hunk of junk

### 1/5 — Product is absolutely useless

*2026-08-16, version 26.15.0*

I’ve gotten scammed. Purchased the WiFi version access 2. Can’t connect to my wifi. And secondly, when setting up on this app the set up crashes at the apple home. Once I accept (since I have to) it doesn’t register and it’s an endless up. I press skip for now and still forced me to connect to apple home despite already connected. Very disappointed.

### 1/5 — Broken

impossible to set up. complete waste of time

### 1/5 — TRASH

*2026-07-27, version 26.12.0*

This app is absolute garbage. It crashes halfway through setups, struggles to connect to locks over wifi and bluetooth, fails on every possible thing it needs to do.

Buy a Schlage or a Wyze if you need a smart lock.

### 1/5 — Absolute Garbage

*2026-07-26, version 26.12.0*

I’ve been a residential technology professional for 20+ years. This app is a disaster as is the product. Massive disappointment and waste of money.
