No hd ### 2/5 — App shows low memory *2020-01-18, version 1.9.84* Dear developer when ever I tried to view the cctv your app plays camera but in less then a minute shows low memory and exit view. In fact there is more than 100GB free memory and previously it gives option of clearing catches which is no longer available. Could you please check why these issuers are there ### 2/5 — Disappointed! *2019-10-24, version 1.9.84* Bought a complete system and initially it performed well. Since.. the app fails to find my system and the footage takes for ages to load? Make sure you download the correct app for your system as they aren’t interchangeable. I was about to return my CCTV system because it couldn’t be viewed by the “recommended” app and then found this one. ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time or money *2019-01-26, version 1.9.0* I recommend that you do not waste your time on money I have a whole home system and I can never get it to work on my mobile with any of the apps and you do not get help from Yale they just keep sending the same links to the website which don’t work and it takes them about three days to do just that. ### 1/5 — Dire....rarely ever works *2018-11-22, version 1.9.0* I bought the Yale 2 x cctv camera set ( cameras and hard drive etc all great) and sadly for me I had to download this app in order to view them remotely...well apparently that’s idea anyway 🙄The app is on both my iPad and my iPhone and it simply won’t work well or consistently on either of them; not on my home WiFi, 4G or my mobile WiFi device. When it does work it’s fine, not much you can do with it other than view remotely but that’s all it’s supposed to do I guess. This app has been so annoyingly disappointing that this is the first review I’ve ever done! ### 1/5 — Bad 3g/4g connection *2018-11-06, version 1.9.0* Takes a long time to buffer and does not display HD on app over mobile network, tried different phones and networks. However, phone app is disappointing. I can view perfectly via app when out, but if you have cameras that require this app and not the new app. You cannot get push phone notifications to show when someone comes in range on cameras. Playback option on app does not show the red lines for when motion is detected. So you would have no idea if some entered property/area via app. Contacted support and quite rude. ### 2/5 — Night time poor *2018-08-30, version 1.9.0* In night mode pushes iPhone brightness to 100% which is OTT. In addition the playback is shocking when it starts to skip and jump forward for no apparent reason ### 2/5 — NEEDS APP ALERTS *2018-07-05, version 1.9.0* Got this app to go with my new Yale Cameras. App is great for viewing from anywhere, but,I cannot believe that there is no option for Push Notifications when the camera is triggered. The system can send an email which I wouldn’t see as quickly as a push notification. A security company that actually put its customers at risk due to poor implementation and no customer support ### 1/5 — Brilliant camera quality, rubbish app *2022-09-05, version 1.9.84* Purchased these cameras a few years ago and really rate the quality of the pictures, however over the past month or so when I’ve needed my home security more than ever, the app continually glitches and I can’t view nor store and footage as needed for evidence. Scanning function did not work. Search function did not detect any of my cameras or dvr. When I copied and pasted the camera SN, application stated it as invalid?? I have had to reconfig the ip addresses to the app so many times. Actually reached stage now where is no longer works. Doesn’t connect anymore to my cctv and I even have reset my box to factory settings. I don’t usually write reviews but this app have been nothing but trouble since day 1 ### 1/5 — Used to be good, but now skips an hour on playback *2019-10-27, version 1.9.84* This used to be good until the last update, now whenever you try to play back events, when you select a time, it jumps forward an hour every time! Impossible to view anything. Very disappointed! ### 1/5 — Connect all YALE CCTV products in same APP. *2019-06-26, version 1.9.0* A couple of things, seem to get a lot of CCTV of cats walking across the camera view (Some real time working face recognition would be an improvement). Be an improvement if all the YALE CCTV products worked from the same application, just for ease of use. Not sure what happens when the SD Cards are full or why things are not recording. As well as faces, be good to capture number plates parked on my drive. Have amended my prior review... *2019-05-27, version 1.9.0* Yale have updated their cctv app and it’s GREAT! Fully working, improved functionality and overall a good interface. Now Yale are at the top of the market, the competition can’t beat their cameras and home security ideas plus with the app being updated the only real flaw to their products is now very much improved. Unmatched customer service also, was very impressed with how my issue was handled and quickly resolved. ### 5/5 — Great...when you know how to set it up! *2019-02-16, version 1.9.0* Firstly...do not use the router gateways in set up!...they are used by Microsoft programs that will crash the Yale box...even Yale do not know this...must be stupid I guess! Secondly..if you use an ip provider that does not give a static ip address you’re in big trouble..you will never be able to to watch remotely unless you have a dns server and another program reporting to the router what port the Yale box is using..took me ages to work out and a free box from Yale as they didn’t know the conflict in their set up regarding ports to open! Brilliant bit of kit when you know what to do!..but be warned..can be a ball ache unless you have a bit of knowledge using port forwarding. ### 5/5 — Works 100% *2019-02-04, version 1.9.0* Would be nice if you could get an app notification on motion detection not just an email. Also when on playback timeline it would be better if the feed didn’t rebuffer as you scroll to the desired time because it’s slow to scroll but rather you should scroll to the desired time and have to push play again.
