No Face ID or passkey, continually need to log in to the app to use it, it’s very frustrating especially if the alarm is activated accidentally. Sometimes it doesn’t accept the password so you have to reset it - sometimes standing in your doorway surrounded by all your shopping and crying kids whilst the alarm goes off. (The flimsy keypad died a long time ago). It also sometimes says it’s deactivated and it isn’t. I don’t know how many times a day we can trigger the alarm without upsetting the neighbours. ### 1/5 — No longer supported? *2025-09-10, version 3.4.6* The alarm is still lit up and functions but the app can no longer connect. I’m a DevOps engineer so I’ve tried all the normal stuff. Device is discoverable on the network, internet connection is available, no port blocking in place. It’s as if the api dropped a few days ago or support for the device did. ### 1/5 — Is really hard to add any device *2025-09-07, version 3.4.6* I spent three full days trying to set up the SR-PVC PIR Video Camera, and it was an absolute nightmare. I followed every single instruction provided in the manual, tried multiple setups, and even searched online for solutions – nothing worked. The instructions are incomplete, confusing, and often contradictory. The app/software is buggy, the device keeps failing to connect, and technical support (if any exists) is completely unhelpful. I expected a simple plug-and-play device, but instead, I got endless frustration and wasted time. For a product that claims to be “easy to install,” this is far from the truth. I cannot recommend this to anyone. Save your money and avoid this at all costs. ### 3/5 — Always Logging us out! *2025-09-03, version 3.4.6* I have had and used the app to activate and deactivate the alarm because I find the keypad very flimsy and fiddly, there is no sound or light to let you know if digits are being registered! You are constantly and I mean CONSTANTLY having to log in to your account to activate/disable the alarm system. Occurs on both mine and my wife’s phones so not a device issue. No interest from the developers to fix the issue either as we aren’t alone and has been like this for a while. It was working perfectly when I purchased it 3 years ago, however over the past year the app keeps logging you out and I need to log back in on nearly a daily basis to turn the alarm on/off. Thought they would have done something to fix this but it has been over a year now. I note other reviews are pointing this out too. The only very slight niggle I have is this: When the alarm is in part or full set - the door opening chime doesn’t work. I’d be really grateful if you could suggest to whoever, to keep the door opening chime operative even when the alarm is set. Otherwise - it’s all 👌🏻⭐️ ### 5/5 — Just What I Needed *2021-11-01, version 3.2.4* We’ve had the same alarm system for about 10 years so we decided it was time to update. I considered a Ring System and the Yale System. I went for the Yale because of the 200 mtr range so I could protect our shed, garage and caravan as well as the house, without relying on the WiFi Range Extenders that the Ring System needs. Installation was very easy as was setting up the Yale Home Smart System. The App is very easy to use with just the right amount of options without being overly complicated. The System works perfectly and so does the App. Great piece of mind again. I am able to monitor and control the system installed at my mother’s house from my phone remotely and without issue. I wrote to the developers a number of years ago requesting the additional of a panic button after observing a potential burglar snooping around on the security cameras, the panic button works excellently. The recent addition of the sensor tab on the dashboard removes the only other thing I would have criticized. All in all a simple, fully functioning App! ### 5/5 — Sr3200 /apple watch 6 *2021-04-22, version 3.2.1* I use sr 3200 alarm system, it does not work with apple watch 6, it keeps saying unlock iphone, I unlock it, but it does not work, but I turned off the alarm from my watch for 1 time last month :) I couldn't do it again, the application version is up to date, I will ask for help. ### 5/5 — A really simple alarm system *2020-10-22, version 3.2.0* We bought this as a replacement for our orignal alarm because Orange no longer supports copper connections and we had to change to an internet phone. It was bought in the UK and it works in France (just need a mains plug adapter). It is all joined up and once the app is downloaded you need to read each instruction carefully since each item has its own help screen as you get to it. But the ability to set the alarm from a distance or the géolocalisation system are a huge benefit. Adding extra items such a door sensor is a doddle and you can set them up to notify you if someone else comes in when you can’t see them. Whilst it won’t notify you if the internet goes down, it Stills works as a stand alone system for the sirens. ### 5/5 — Mixed feelings *2020-06-24, version 3.1.2* Initially I loved the new update, seemed more responsive and slick. However I have noticed the push notifications when armed/disarmed/burgled are much slower now. I leave the house and arm the alarm using the keypad. I receive a push notifications about 30/60 mins later saying I have armed it. Today I tested by triggering the alarm. By following the instructions, registration and configuring the system was relatively easy. The app works well both on iPhone and iWatch. (The watch app is basic but does feed back the status of the alarm, which is better than the key fob). The menu system is a little convoluted, but once you get used to it, not a problem. The help feature is good in that whichever point you are in the app, when you access the help it is relevant to that page. In other words you don’t have to search for ages to find what you are looking for. Registering additional items is not that straight forward at first, but after registering a couple of items, it became straight forward.
