The biggest problem is how long it takes to load the camera every single time. Whenever I go back to the camera list and then try to watch again, it loads all over again. It happens every time and makes the app almost useless. It gives me a headache using it. The app needs a serious upgrade — faster loading, smoother performance, and a new modern, clean design. Also, the app has very limited control compared to the monitor. You can’t control many important features from the app at all. For a security system, the app should be simple, fast, and reliable, but right now it’s far from that. Constant drop out of connectivity rendering cameras useless. Don’t waste your money and time. Better systems available on the market. ### 1/5 — Awful app - avoid *2025-08-21, version 1.7.4* This app has so many failings that it’s difficult to know where to start. Firstly, and probably least importantly, the choice of using ‘brand yellow’ for text, icon images etc, makes them almost unreadable in any kind of light. Secondly, it’s not possible to turn on ad-hoc monitoring if you want to pop out for a while and want the camera to watch what’s going on while you’re out (surely a main reason for having one). Instead of a simple slider to start monitoring as you leave the house you instead have to go into the camera settings, find the monitoring schedule page, and set up a timed monitor for the day and time that you’ll be out. If you are out longer than you set the schedule for, tough, it won’t monitor past the time you set. Also, you have to remember to reverse that schedule unless you want it to repeat on the same day of the week and the same time forever. There are no instructions or help of any kind to help you set up features for example a detection region’ to only monitor certain parts of the room for movement. If you set this up (using your best guess as to what to do), and then clear the region (using the helpful button labelled ‘C…r’), the camera then refuses to monitor anything, and blindly ignores all the bad folk moving around robbing your house. And if I can’t find somewhere to allow me to easily delete recordings I no longer want, that would be a help too. Or a decent user guide since I can read… The camera is fine, the app is utterly useless. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2025-08-19, version 1.7.4* The app does not allow more than one person to be logged in to view ### 1/5 — All out of sync! *2025-04-15, version 1.7.4* Continuously recording in SD! Even though it's set to HD. Its recording events 1 hour ahead of what the actual time is, and when i go to click on them it wont let me view them because it clearly cannot possibly record events 1 hour into the future. The timeline is completely messed up. Im talking about the "view history record" it's currently 8.14am and its recording things up untill 9.14 am. How is that even possible. It's all out sync. Also, now every-time i open app, it's showing me the help tips on how to use the app every single time i open it. Please fix!
