BEWARE: Warning to all travelers to Slovenia / Ljubljana (American or other), this app is a scam and allows drivers to charge whatever they want (your ride fare is NOT fixed). Even if you book a terminal/credit card only ride, the driver will threaten to call the police on you if you don’t give them cash. He turned around and forced us to an ATM to take out cash or call the police. He used profanity and made personal threats and threatened to call the police. This app and its drivers are not regulated. We reached out to the app customer support and we have been disregarded. Again, use this app at your own risk. The drivers are not held accountable.

**Developer response:** Hello, We are very sorry to hear about your negative experience. What you describe does not reflect the standards of Yalla Slovenia. Passenger safety, fair pricing, and professional conduct from our drivers are our highest priorities. To clarify: All Yalla rides are meant to be transparently priced, and drivers are required to honor the fare shown in the app. Cash payments should never be forced when a card option is selected. Threatening or abusive behavior is a direct violation of our driver code of conduct, and we take such reports extremely seriously. We would like to investigate this specific incident immediately. Could you please provide the trip details (date, time, driver name/vehicle) by contacting our support team directly at yallataxiapp@gmail.com. This will allow us to take the appropriate action, which may include suspending or removing the driver from our platform. We are also strengthening our monitoring and complaint-handling system to ensure that such situations are not disregarded in the future. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
