Therefore, did not attend the tournament. ### 1/5 — Passport NFC chip scan is ridiculous *2025-12-29, version 2.0.1* The app is good BUT the feature for passport chip scan does not support passports that are valid but issued before nfc chip was available. Many countries are complaining including US and India. WHY would the app not allow manual as a backup option??? A very disappointing experience. Multiple emails with customer support does not resolve anything as they simple say to wait. ### 1/5 — Does not work *2025-12-26, version 2.0.1* It's just so disappointing how the app's name point is to get us to find ID, and it's not even able to scan properly. Plus I have a Moroccan ID. I have tried with three different phones, and none of them seem to work. I called support to let them know, and their only excuse was "wait and try again." And I've tried over ten times. I let them know there is an issue with the app, and it turned out they wanted to argue about it. Like, "No, your phone has an issue." We needed to create a fan ID, but the Yalla app is riddled with bugs that make it impossible to use. There was no easy alternative or workaround provided, which meant we missed out on purchasing tickets when they were available. The frustration and wasted time are beyond words. If I could give this app zero stars, I would. I have even contacted the customer support team twice and asked for my account to be deleted and erasure of my data, however I have been met with no response. I fear that the app is not safe to use from a data protection perspective and the organisation is not upholding to basic data regulations.
